A mix of old and new, rustic exterior with contemporary interior with modern conveniences. 10 min to Coolum beach. The cabin has 1 queen bed and also a quality sofa bed that folds down to another queen bed. Full kitchen/bathroom/Aircon/TV/BBQ/fire pit. Cabin is located on a 50 acre fenced with dog wire so dogs can have free reign of or if you like to even bring your horse, there is a good riding 5 min away. The cabin is by the dam on a 50 acres cattle and goat farm. Views to Mt. Ninderry is beautiful backdrop with spectacular sunsets. The property is close to the beach, river, mountains, shops and restaurants or just relax by the dam with a campfire and gaze at the stars on a beautiful night.

Loved the charm of the cabin. Beautiful outlook over the dam. Worth going up Ninderry mountain just for the stunning view at the top. Handy to beach.

We had a great time our little dog had fun with Molly the dog and Goat the position is rural and next to a big pond with lotsa birds. Not far to any places to see on the Sunshine Coast The host Doug made us welcome and was very helpful

Perfect getaway for couple time + spirited dog
Farm life to beach life just 10 mins apart. Modern self contained cabin on farm with everything you need right down to mosquito coils. Peaceful, quiet & comfortable farm living. Fully fenced with a large dam so your dog can roam free & have a swim. Ours has selective hearing & is an escape artist so we had her on a long telecom lead in case we had to reel her in 😄 The large dam has long reeds & lily pillys in it but Doug the owner gave us access to the paddock next door so our staffy could swim in the smaller dam, lily pilly free. She loves to swim but not the strongest swimmer, so was perfect for her. Best thing too, Coolum beach is only a 10 min drive away & welcomes dogs on leads outside the flagged area. We were told too that at a certain time it is lead free. You would have to check on the time frame with the council. Doug was a perfect host & knowing he lived on the property added to our comfortable stay. He lets you be but he's just a phone call away if you need anything. Farm life to beach life in 10 mins was awesome 👌 We will definitely be back. Night time brings out flying ants ! Yes true, so our advice, keep your windows up in your car & use minimum lighting at night. But hey that's farm life 🙂 We honestly enjoyed our stay & highly recommend. Thank you again Doug for being the perfect host & making our stay wonderful 🙂 Tracey, Wally ,& Maci 🐕

Peace, Freedom & Everything You Need to Relax
My partner & I travel frequently to exolore new areas a little off the beaten track & take a break from big city life in Beisbane. This beautiful peoperty is among our favourite stays on our journey so far. It is homey & basic & has everything you need to relax & unwind. The dam, with its gorgeous lillies & birdlife are a joy to behold, just being beside it every day are enough to melt your cares & concerns away, with a stunning view of the mountains beyond the rich green spacious paddocks around you. Sunup, sundown, rain or shine, it's never a bad time to be there, kicking back with a drink in hand. The bath is a Must Try. Comfy bed & pull out lounge bed for 2. Even Bowie, our 11 year old Boarder Collie loved trotting through the grounds & sleeping outdoors undisturbed. Absolutely brilliant stay, we'll be back. Enjoy this hidden treasure while it lasts. 5 Stars

Great little getaway
Lovely cabin by the dam. I loved that I could bring my dog for the stay. The gate for the paddock that the cabin is in can be shut giving a secure yard for dogs to roam around. Doug and his little border collie, Molly, were very welcoming hosts.

Weekend Getaway
From the moment we arrived, it was relaxing. We took time for star gazing and toasting marshmallows on the campfire. One of the goats had 3 triplets while we were there so had the opportunity to get up close and personal. The cattle were beautiful and quiet too, and Molly was the best four-legged host leading us around the paddocks. Doug was a great host too!

It is what it says, a rustic cabin. A bit hard to find, so arrive during daylight. A little cold at this time of year but we had a great little fire in the firepit, and the bed is really warm once you're in. Handy to lots of stuff - we went to both Yandina & Coolum for meals. Doug is helpful & hospitable.

We could not fault this cottage on cleanliness. It was spotless. The bed was really comfortable, the best bed I have slept in away from home. The fenced yard was great for our dog who seemed to enjoy her time away as much as we did. A few things weren't in good working order: the water ( though to be fair a new pump system had just been install and the owners were quick to try and iron out the bugs), the TV needed instructions on how to use it and the oven was out of order (but it wasn't something we wanted to use anyway). The outdoors was just as clean as the inside and there was a lovely view of the dam from the window in the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rustic cabin for a short break.
