With a backdrop of palm trees and towering eucalypts, the ‘Queenslander’ style home’s back verandah directly overlooks both the sun-drenched 100,000 litre swimming pool and swim up bar, as well as Cooroibah Creek which meanders through the property. A peaceful watering hole for our resident kangaroo and wallaby families, the creek provides our guests direct access to the spectacular Noosa River system and glassy Lake Cooroibah via the home’s many kayaks.
With a relaxing guest experience in mind Noosa Gums’ sunken media room is equipped with Netflix, a Wii console and board games and the underneath of the home has been converted to a games’ room where guests can enjoy a game of table tennis, pool, or darts. And if that’s not enough, outdoors there’s a large fire pit area perfect for marshmallow roasting in the cooler months, an assortment of bikes to explore the nearby trails and body boards to take to the beach!
Tastefully styled and furnished with quality décor and linen, Noosa Gums is perfectly suited to gatherings of families and friends with its large air-conditioned open plan kitchen, living and dining space with a large communal dining table and bench seating plus a Coonara style wood heater for the cooler months. The fully equipped kitchen features a 6 burner gas hob, double oven, dishwasher and French cabinet fridge with a second fridge in the garage. Outdoors is a Weber Q BBQ and a dining setting allowing guests the option to dine or enjoy a sundowner outside in a peaceful, serene and totally private bush setting.
The home’s west wing features four air-conditioned bedrooms, each equipped with high quality linen including bath and pool towels for all guests, built in robes, ceiling fans and crim-safe style security screens to ensure guests’ comfort and security year round. The large master bedroom features a private balcony with seating for 2 overlooking the pool, a super king size bed and a sunken ensuite with spa bath and shower. Bedroom two also has a king size bed, bedroom three a queen size bed and for our younger guests, bedroom four is a playful space with two sets of bunks, the perfect space for creating unforgettable holiday memories. At the other end of the home, adjacent to the dining and sunken media room is bedroom 5, a smaller air-conditioned bedroom featuring a queen size bed.
The master bedroom features an ensuite with a corner spa bath, shower and toilet and a large second bathroom with bath and shower with a separate toilet/powder room, service the additional 4 bedrooms.
The large laundry is equipped with a washing machine, clothes dryer and ironing facilities and the property’s 3 clothes lines allow guests to make the most of the sunshine!

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:
- For those considering booking who have young children, please note the house, back verandah and pool area are fully enclosed/fenced, but the creek is un-fenced so supervision of children at all times whilst outdoors is essential
- 3 security cameras monitor and record activity in the driveway, garage and front of the home in order to protect and secure the property and ensure guest safety
- This property is a Queenslander style and requires the use of external and some internal stairs. This home is not suitable for guests in wheelchairs and may not be suitable for those who are mobility impaired
- Due to the risk of bushfire, the outdoor fire pit area cannot be used during the Summer months
- The room adjoining the garage is locked and is for private use only
- This is a self-contained property. Linen, bath towels and beach towels are provided with two washing machines and a clothes dryer available for your convenience. A starter consumables pack is provided which includes an initial supply of tea, coffee, milk, shampoo, conditioner, soap & toilet paper. This is not intended to be an exhaustive supply so depending on your length of stay and usage, you may need to purchase additional consumable items during your stay
- A high chair and porta cot (BYO linen) are provided at no extra cost. If required, porta cot linen can be arranged upon request ahead of arrival, feeds will apply

NEIGHBOURHOOD DESCRIPTION:
The 2 acre retreat is positioned in the Noosa Hinterland but is only a 15 minute drive to Noosa’s famous beaches and iconic Hastings St, a few minutes away from Tewantin and Noosaville’s Gympie Terrace and a short drive to Cooroy and Eumundi and its famous market.
The options for eating out are endless. Whether it’s the world class restaurants of Hastings Street and Gympie Terrace or more casual eateries in Tewantin and the Noosa Marina, all tastes are catered for.
The Noosa shire is renown for its world-class surfing beaches with the internationally recognised ‘Noosa Festival of Surfing’ held annually in March. From point breaks to sandy beaches, beginners to advanced surfers, Noosa has it all.
For those looking for outdoor activities other than the beach, Noosa Gums and its surrounds provide endless options including kayaking, mountain and road biking, horse riding, bushwalking, sailing and fishing.
4WD enthusiasts can easily access the Noosa North Shore and World Heritage Listed Fraser Island from the Tewantin car ferry – a 5 minute drive from Noosa Gums.
To cater to those with a love of boating and fishing Noosa provides options for fresh water lake, river, estuary and surf fishing. Small tinnies can be launched directly from the property and larger crafts from the Noosa Marina complex in nearby Tewantin.
Endless options for both road cycling and mountain biking are also at your doorstep. Noosa Gums is directly connected to Tewantin by safe cycle paths and Noosa Beach is a 30 min ride. Access to some of Queensland’s best mountain bike trails is from the nearby Tewantin National Park. 6 adult bicycles and helmets are available for guest use.
