During daytimes the property has a really unique look & vibe, however its vibe changes at night, promotions & events seem to endorse a drinking culture and while I understand that many guests enjoy socialising and unwinding with drinks during their stays, I also believe it’s important to ensure that this environment is both safe and respectful for everyone involved, and because there is no room service, guests have no choice but to go downstairs into the bar to order food or purchase snacks & soft drinks to take back to their rooms. As I observed while waiting for my food to cook there were instances where men were making unwanted advances towards women which was uncomfortable and inappropriate to watch. The venue has an atmosphere that encourages games and drinking, It’s certainly not a place for children and for people like myself who don’t drink alcohol, nor is it a place for those who prefer to eat without leaving their room.

Note they do not take cash for anything. My credit card did not compute so I had to leave without breakfast and I had to scrounge a trip in the taxi from a fellow traveller. The wash basin didn’t fit in the bathroom and was in the hall. It is a long walk to the airport and the footpath does not reach the hotel. You are better off staying in the city and taking the train to the airport! No chance of me coming back

A friendly and innovative hotel. Small, carefully furnished room to make the most of space. Delightful public area with great seating clusters and fun vibe. Very nice restaurant with interesting food offerings, freshly made at the open kitchen. Good bar too. Nice place to eat when traveling solo. Our stay at the Moxy was excellent. The room was a good size, extremely quiet even though the hotel is located quite close to the airport. The staff were excellent, extremely helpful and polite making our stay very enjoyable. All in all we would not hesitate to return again in future.
