The blind in our window didn’t work well. Could hear people next door or outside door talking. Liked the simplicity of it as hotels don’t need so much stuff in rooms especially if you have breakfast don’t need a coffee maker. I do wish they had small freezers too as I always bring food with me and my ice packs melt after sitting in room for a day so I have to bring things home only to throw them out! Waste of money!!! Loved the breakfast variety but the oatmeal was cold but love that I don’t need to use the packett. TY

Overall, a fantastic stay. We love staying at TRU, their minimalist design and little touches make for a wonderful stay. Only give 4 stars because we had an awful experience at check-in, (eye rolling, aggressive remarks, inability to manage check-in software, wanted to charge us again for the room even though it was already paid) the person behind the desk should not be in hospitality. It left a pretty bad mark in an otherwise wonderful stay.
