A quiet mountain refuge inside a national park, with great options to hike, close enough to Chefchauen that you could visit while having to deal with all the rush of visitors and commerce. Great place to slow down and enjoy quiet times.

It was a beautiful place set aside in the mountains. Very peaceful, and quiet. It was a great escape from everyday life. Very relaxing. I would go back again anytime. The rooms were very clean and the food at the restaurant was fantastic.

Heaven on earth! Loved everything here, food, rooms, the private waterfall, really amazing. However, it would’ve been nice to know about parking beforehand (that we had to park off property and call the driver to get us to the hotel) and to bring mosquito spray.

I had a wonderful stay with my family here. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the service provided were great. They are very helpful in booking the taxis and arranging tour guides. I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you to everyone who helped us during our stay.

We had a nice stay at the L'Ermitage, the room was clean with complimentary water provided and the bathroom neatly stocked with a working hair dryer. Our view was excellent and walking around the property at night was very pleasant with little pockets of unique seating areas that lit up. Wacima was delightful and helped us with our check in and transfer needs, she was very friendly and even said hello at dinner time. The food was decent. Overall a great experience and relaxful retreat from typical riad and medina stays. The two hikes are very easy to access from this property and we got some helpful advice from the staff.

We liked the chalets and how clean they were. The exterior and interior design were amazing. The bathroom was so spacious. The nature around the hotel is breathtaking. We didn’t like there was no wi-fi in the chalets only in the restaurant. And no venting hood in the bathroom. And no insects mesh in the windows.

The restaurant staff and menu were not very accommodating for vegetarians. This could be improved, with obvious vegetarian choices being made available on the menu. We encourage you to consider this, as other things about the hotel and environs are excellent, but this area is lacking.

Cosy cabins in the woods
Lovely environment, great staff who tried very hard to make everything wonderful for our stay. Cabins are cosy. Would say this is almost eco friendly but they could work on replacing single use plastic bottles & amenities & not sure about energy usage supply. The dining and communal areas are great - food quite expensive by Moroccan standards but you’re paying for the environment & service. I would recommend this place for somebody wanting to visit Akchour for the hiking.
