Cold miserable night in the car
Had a great experience the first time around, not so great on the second time. On the second stay, me and the kids ended up sleeping in the car the first night, under very cold weather even though we had arranged for access to the property that had already been paid in advance. We had car problems and were late, but arriving time was never a condition. Despite multiple attempts to reach the owner, we were not getting a response. We slept in the car and the next day almost had to leave, not knowing where we will go. All plans and big commitments for that day went down hill. Finally, hours after the sun was out, we were able to get in and only received a simple apology from the husband of the owner in acknowledgement of their defaulted action. After all the inconvenience, I received credit for half of that cold and miserable night that we slept in the car. I still can’t believe that I was actually charged for half of that day, I will not call that a good customer service practice.
