Prepare cost-saving meals in the well-equipped kitchenette, dine at the table for six, and warm up by the wood stove while you watch a movie on the new flatscreen TV or dive into one of the many provided books. This home also features a spacious, furnished deck with a gas grill, firepit, and porch swing.

The shore of Cascade Lake is a brisk walk from your door, while the peace and quiet of the forest can be found right outside. There's also a beautiful small stream behind the home. And when it's time to stock up on essentials or grab a bite to eat, this cabin is only 13 miles from the town of Cascade.

The cabin was very rustic, set up a hill with a peak view of Lake Cascade. It snowed, making the whole setting very beautiful. It was tough getting in and out of the driveway, and road up wasn’t plowed every day, but we managed. Three negatives: no firewood (despite reviews saying otherwise), very loud furnace, and no instructions for using the tv. Despite those, we had a great stay at this cabin!

Quaint, rustic cabin in the woods with many recent updates. Internet available even though the listing says there's not. Well-supplied kitchen but no dishwasher. Loft area upstairs is wonderful for watching the sunrise with your morning coffee. Big deck w/tables, chairs, propane grill & fire pit. Firewood also provided which was a big plus. Very quiet & secluded even though there are other cabins nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much

Cabin was cozy and comfy. However roads to cabin are extremely rough, don't recommend a car. They do need new mattresses and floors could have been cleaner. Great location for relaxing very quiet and peaceful Overall enjoyed our stay

Awesome place
Clean and cozy. Loved all the old antiques. Great fireplace and plenty of wood. Was able to drive around and take the dog out so she could play in the snow. The morning we left we put out some chips and bread and had 4 blue jays, robin, magpie and sparrows. BBQ worked and had some awesome steaks. We will defintely do this again.

This was a terrible experience for my family. We expected A clean and inviting stay. We assault initially the place was clean. However upon further inspection we found black widow spiders in the bathroom and bedroom.. There was mouse poop in the kitchen drawers, unclean clean pot holders, and a lothere's, and a lingering smell of dead mice in the house. A clean and inviting stay. Just the retreat we needed!
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin it was a much needed relaxation and clarity space perfect for a few days get away. Everything was clean and organized and very spacious there’s a great vibe in the whole place great for writing and reading and journaling and just relaxing. The only thing that we didn’t really understand was where the garbage was supposed to go and we called the customer service line and still couldn’t find the trash receptacle but we just ended up taking the trash with us so next time maybe clarity more on the trash would be great. All in all it was an amazing time and We will be back!

Semi-Rustic Cabin
If you are looking to disconnect from the rest of the world and enjoy a Semi-Rustic Cabin in a beautiful mountain lake setting this is the perfect spot. Basic kitchen amenities, bathroom and simple bedrooms give you that log cabin feel with the comfort of modern amenities. Front deck and loft area overlooking the lake create magical spots to read or relax. Definitely requires all-wheel drive in the winter but that’s half the fun!

Very cute & rustic everywhere you look.
Nice location and was very quiet spot. Overall, very clean and fresh. Only problem with the cleaning was that there was mouse trap and droppings on top of board game in kitchen on shelf towards floor. Only REAL issue was that Roku TV remote was missing and we never did find it. No buttons on the TV to use manually, so we couldn't watch a bunch of home videos we brought. :(

Very nice cabin in quiet setting. Is a bit of a drive into Donnelly or Cascade but if you have a good truck w good suspension it is not a problem. Very close to Tamarack resort.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The fishing was a lot of fun. We were looking for a rustic place to stay and it fit the bill. Only things we would change is that a fan upstairs is always running and it is dangerously low. There is also a tree that went down and it made it difficult to maneuver our boat in the yard.

Cozy little cabin. There was lots of snow which was melting the driveway was a mud mess and could barely get up in to park. However, we would do it again.

Inside was lovely, but outside was trashed.
We didn’t even end up saying beyond the first night. We arrived to an outdoor area that was covered in debris, broken furniture, and a mess of miscellaneous tools and junk. It looked like whoever was taking care of the property did a great job on the inside, but the outside made us feel completely unwelcome and we didn’t feel safe with our dog around all the slivers of wood and an open/broken fire pit. Again, the inside was great, but the outside with the swing, fire pit, etc was a pretty big part of why we wanted to be there, and it was unusable. I also respect that there was still a good amount of snow, so it’s got to be tough to keep everything clear, but it went beyond just that. I reached out the first night about cancelling and still hope for the possibility of a partial refund or something, but haven’t heard back from anyone. Side note for anyone planning a spring trip, you still need 4WD in April. On top of everything, we got stuck in the mud and ice (in our FWD SUV) on the way out and had to get a tow out to the main road.
