Staff were amazing & friendly. Although there is no resturant there is a shop you can buy drink / food and the bar serve hot light bites. Enjoyed use of pool & loungers though there is no shade.

I had a pleasant stay at Aloft Downtown Tampa. I was able to check in early but unfortunately the room they gave me wasn't clean. The front desk offered me a new room but I opted to have the current room cleaned promptly. Common facilities were clean and we'll maintained and the staff were very helpful, would definitely stay again.

Stayed at the Aloft due to proximity of the events we were in town for. Great location and views of the riverwalk. We were looking forward to enjoying the pool area since it was such a hot weekend! To our disappointment, the pool was FILTHY...completely brown and there was even caution tape tied to the railing. Also came home to our first day there, and our room was never even touched. No notice that they would not be there daily, or we would have planned accordingly. Hallways were extremely hot & humid - luckily our room was not. Would have to be a good deal to consider the hotel again.

The hotel was very nice, especially for the price in downtown Tampa! The young adults in our group enjoyed the pool table and bar. The only complaint was the carpet in the room seemed sticky but everything else was very clean.

It was my birthday I ask to see if we could possibly get an upgrade we were told we have the best room available the rooms are INCREDIBLY small you can't tell from pictures so if that was the best than all the room are just way to small... Location is what you're paying for at this hotel staff is nice but parking seems to be only valet available and that 42$ daily..

The Aloft Hotel alone is amazing a home within a home. The games and activities you can play with your friends and family. The Bar was a vibe within itself, Ron the Bartender is a great and fun guy, he kept the entertainment going for sure. We loved every bit about the time we were there and we will most definitely be back

I stayed 2 nights here. The front desk staff were super friendly. Room was a nice design: floor to ceiling window with a view of the river, great lighting in the bathroom mirror, and ok water pressure in the shower. It did however have that slight musty smell that you get with buildings on the water. They definitely used some sort of spray to mask it, which i appreciated. Negatives are Only half the floors have a microwave/ice machine. I wanted to buy some alcohol from the lobby shop as a nightcap but you can only buy them after the bar closes, which is ridiculous. The whole bar/lounge area seemed sticky. Lots of tables needing busing. There were lots of people having a good time, though. This was 11p on Friday night so everyone was vibing. Bartender seemed really pissed off but he made me my double vodka tonic for $26 and I took it back to my room All in all this hotel is like carnival cruise line, it’s not as good as the other options but it’s cheaper and gets the job done and it’s a party.

Meh, wouldn’t stay again.
Lots of wear and tear. Not super clean. Management is rude and unprofessional but regular staff was great. Our room wasn’t ready until well after we arrived, even passed their own check in time. Told us the restaurant/bar opened at 5 to keep us busy while we waited for our room… wasn’t even getting ready to open after 5.

FRIENDLY and GREAT Staff, but some issues
The staff at Aloft were amazing! Unfortunately our room had a strong odor the entire stay. They did deodorize it twice, but it didn't help much. The carpets were very stained in the room and in the hallway. With the amazing staff they have, I know the other issues will be resolved and they will have a magnificent place!
