From the moment we stepped onto this property, it was not a good experience. They gave a room that was next to a loud, barking dog. The bigger problem was that the room was occupied. Ok, mistakes happen. Here’s where it went wrong…we went to the front desk to tell them it’s occupied and all he said was he’d have to go up and see what’s going on. What? Am I supposed to wait for someone to be kicked out and the room cleaned at 11:00 pm? We were exhausted and wanted our room. I requested another room but was told there was no other room. Ok stranded with no room now. I asked for my money back and they couldn’t give me my money back until the next day! After sitting in the parking lot for an hour trying to find another hotel (without success), my husband goes back in and tells them to book us at another one of their locations. Instead, they somehow found another room for us. This could’ve all been alleviated with an electronic room system. Instead, they have their unoccupied rooms on paper and didn’t correct it when a patron changed to our room. No hair dryer in the room. Also, I specifically booked this room for the free breakfast due to an early flight. Absolutely ZERO breakfast…AND they were out of coffee. This place needs an overhaul on appropriate planning for a full house. They also need to do a better job on trying to separate patrons with pets from patrons with no pets…like LaQuinta does. On a positive note, the room was incredibly clean and very comfortable to sleep in.
