Mold Ceilings
The customer service was excellent but unfortunately the rooms not so much. Our first room was on second floor and before we got too comfortable, we realized that there was mold on the ceiling. I have bad allergies and asthma, so we requested another room. She put is on the 3rd floor, but that ceiling was just as worse. I canceled the reservations altogether.

Filthy rundown embarrassment to Hilton
A multi Millionaire owns this hotel. There is no excuse for it to be so rundown and filthy. Mold in the bathrooms, filthy carpet, tables in eating area never wiped down in 3 days. Plenty of staff to do so. Wires hanging out in the pool. Furniture full of filth and stains. No emergency systems operating when power went out. One elevator does not operate. Green carpet so dirty it is brown and black in the walking path. The list goes on and on. An embarrassment to the Hilton brand.

Awful smell
This was the start of our girls trip, which we stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The stay would have been a whole lot better if there was not this awful smell of mildew in the rooms and hallways.

Room had stale odor. Bed was very uncomfortable. Floor AC unit was out. Had two large units with large wiring bundles- could be a hazard with children. Coffee was warm but not hot.

Some sort of air conditioning unit on the 4th floor that was super loud and looked horrible. A/C leaking so the carpet was moist and had a smell. General women’s bathroom in lobby was DISGUSTING. Overall, if I wasn’t just saying for about 8 hrs to just sleep, I would have requested it money back.

Very nice staff. Clean and comfortable room. Pool was big and warm. Breakfast was also good. Very close to zoo Tampa. We choose this location just for the zoo. Would stay there again.
