Very nice stay

This was a one-night stay before a cruise from Tampa. It's an older hotel that has been updated. It was a very reasonable price for a plane very convenient to Busch Gardens. My only complaint is that there were kids playing in the courtyard could be heard inside the living room portion of the store. However, I just went and watched television in the bedroom part of the suite and that was fine.

When I arrived the receptionist was rude. My sheets was dirty with hair on them. My AC was broken and the temperature outside was below 50 degrees. To be even more upsetting I was offered a blanket to stay warm. So disappointed

None of the staff acted like they gave 2 craps about anyone there. There is one entrance for the entire complex, had to walk long distances to do anything (unload car, get things from car after check-in, etc.). Limited areas to eat "complimentary breakfast" and when I popped down only a few things were available. Also was alarmed to find that while I was out for the day, someone entered my room without permission.

It was actually very nice. The bar section wasn’t available. It was under construction. I guess no restaurants but every room had an Olive Garden menu on the table so I guess we could order from Olive Garden and have it delivered to our rooms overall wasn’t too bad clean rooms clean bathroom. I wish we had more of a selection on the TV but I liked it I would come back.

Not a welcome environment.

Spot was nice great location. Free parking. Only downside was the main elevator being broken. And we were on the 3rd floor. So had to walk about to get to another one. Also the staff wasn’t very friendly. I came early for check in and was scolded by the front desk lady like I wasn’t welcome. Usually hotels will figure it out but she was not accommodating at all. And even when I returned at the right time she wasn’t friendly at all.

The room was spacious. Vary well lite. The free breakfast was bountiful, but, no real eating area. My room was on the third floor and the elevator next to the lobby was out of order. I had to go all the way around to the other side of the complex to access the second elevator.
