Peace & quiet!
Beautiful, well-appointed casita! Very convenient to various destinations around Taos and easy to get to. Lots of obvious thought and attention to detail around the casita from the linens to the architectural design. Pat left me a little birthday balloon and flowers which was an extra sweet touch. Overall, 10/10 experience!

Atomica Rates A+
This may well have been our favorite vacation rental ever! We immediately fell in love with the space, the decorative art and the access it afforded us to some spectacular night skies-remarkable star-gazing without ambient light! We also appreciated how welcome Patricia and Allan made us feel. And we bonded with “resident dog” Hudson. We will definitely return if we’re fortunate enough to revisit NM.

Lovely rental with an amazing view
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The space was clean, had everything we needed and had great views of the surrounding mountains and desert. The check-in process was easy and Pat was quick to respond when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely Remarkable
This property exceeded our expectations! We were awestruck the moment we stepped into this perfectly curated Casita. The property owners spared no expense when designing this space and also made sure all extra amenities were available for others to enjoy. The art that is tastefully placed throughout the Casita is absolutely spectacular and unique! If you enjoy watching birds, there were several quails and doves that my husband and I looked for every day. We were also fortunate enough to see a jack rabbit hopping down the side of the road one morning. If all of that wasn't enough, the owners were some of the nicest people I have ever met. It is such a breath of fresh air when you can make new friends while on vacation! We will definitely stay here when we venture to New Mexico again.

Spectacular
The house is fantastic inside and out. The unit is super clean and roomy and comfortable and dramatic, with great design touches, including all of the artwork by the host. The bed, towels and linens are fresh and new and the supplies are generous. The views are long and gorgeous. We enjoyed watching the sunrises and sundowns. The hosts are very friendly. All around a very special experience.

A retreat for heart, body, mind, and soul
We had a wonderfully relaxing time of heart, body, mind, and soul... all re-energized and strengthened in your quiet Casita Atomica retreat... watching the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from your home... as they began and completed each of our days there. We also appreciated your time one evening... having something refreshing to drink while we talked as the sun set. We arrived as strangers... and we left as friends. We anticipate another visit to Taos, as a longer opportunity to explore much more of the surrounding area. Thanks so much for sharing your quiet retreat. We look forward to seeing you again !

Amazing!
Pat and Allan's casita is perfect for a couple or solo traveler to enjoy the Taos area. It's a unique and beautiful structure set on the mesa just outside the gorge where the Rio Grande and the Rio Pueblo de Taos meet. There is abundant hiking/walking and mountain biking just down the road. There is easy access to climbing and skiing in the National Forest. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is super comfy (great linen) and the views are amazing. The breeze flowing through the window gives the place a very special feel. Pat's suggestions for dining are spot-on. Allan's tremendous talent as an artist make this casita extra special. Clearly the hosts have put tremendous thought into the accommodations and needs of their guests. We will be back. Thank you!

A gem in the high desert
The Casita at Atomica is a gem of a property. Newly constructed, it is immaculate, bright and airy, with spectacular views of the surrounding landscape -- and amazing sunsets. I loved Allan's art that adorns the casita, and his masterful construction style. The bed is super comfy and the bathroom is first class. Patricia and Allan are lovely and were warmly accommodating. Only 10-15 min to town, very quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous Taos casita
We were the first official guests in this amazing space. As cool, artistic, and modern as the photos indicate-- and the pictures don't do the 360 degree views justice! Truly one of the nicest and most unique short-term rentals we've ever stayed at (and there's been a lot). We also loved lounging outside for sunset after days of good hiking in the ski valley. Location convenient to anything you might want to do/ eat in the area. The hosts, Pat and Al, are so friendly and kind, easy to communicate with about directions, recommendations, etc. If you're looking for a place and Taos, this is it! So wonderful & we hope to be back for ski season!
