This was a full-on backpackers lodge which I wasn’t expecting. Generally unmanned. The lady who serviced the rooms was nice. Great location, right on the doorstep of restaurants and cafes. Easy to walk to historic sites. Between 2 and 4 flights of narrow stairs, no elevator. Room small. No tv. Tiny tiny shower was the worst feature. Location and air con were the best features. Wouldn’t stay again but only because my expectations were of a hotel.

Well located hostel but noisy
A day or two before arriving, you will receive a message from the hotel with a door entry and booking code. There is a machine in reception where you enter the booking code to receive your key. You then receive an email to say which room is yours. It's a great system. The location of the hostel is very central and there are many restaurants immediately out front, which is both a good and bad thing as the noise goes on til 2am. The room is basic but comfortable. The bathroom is tiny and would be an issue for anyone of a certain size. The biggest issue for me was not being able to reach staff members. The hostel is meant to be 100% smoke free but as soon as the staff leave at 6pm, everyone hangs out their window smoking so I couldn't have my balcony door open because of the smell. I think the dorm rooms are on the fifth floor too as the teens and 20-somethings staying in them would run up and down playing music and making a lot of noise from six. This wasn't every night, but it happened more than once. Even if a staff member doesn't stop in regularly late at night, they should do this now and again to stop this happening and make it clear that people can be viewed smoking on balconies and running around corridors playing loud music and that there would be consequences if this was observed. One last positive is that there is a big Carrefour five minutes away.

Pros: excelente localización, muy céntrica y cerca de las principales atracciones de la ciudad, en una placita llena de restaurantes y tiendas locales. El precio es muy competitivo para la zona. El proceso de check-in no es muy complicado si sigues las instrucciones, y dispone de una sala abierta 24h bastante amplia y cómoda, donde poder trabajar o relajarse tomando un café gratis y con conexión wifi también gratuita. Las habitaciones son cómodas, sin grandes lujos pero con todo lo suficiente para estancias cortas, y se limpian a diario. Contras: No disponen de recepción ni personal presente en el lugar, con lo cual la comunicación con los encargados resulta complicada y tediosa si tienes algún problema de acceso, en la habitación o similar. Mi habitación individual era pequeña pero más que suficiente para dos días, bien equipada... Pero tuve que dormir ambas noches con la ventana abierta, puesto que el olor a cloaca era insoportable, así como a comida cuando la abría (hay que hay que tener en cuenta que se encuentra en un edificio donde hay dos restaurantes en la planta baja y otros tantos alrededor), cosa que, obviamente, no solucionó el problema. La ducha y la cisterna perdían agua todo el rato y eran bastante ruidosas, y la cama tremendamente incómoda. Por último, la limpieza general es mejorable. Pude contactar con el equipo de Ebookers y el personal del hostal y se me ofreció compensación por las molestias, pero esto no será un motivo para recomendar este lugar.

Para viajes puntuales está bien , muchas escaleras y estrechas si llevas mucho equipaje, tiene aire acondicionado ,sin tv, alrededor muchos bares y restaurantes todo a mano ,de noche se duerme bien , ningún ruido ni molestias , en general y por el precio está genial.

Enjoyed my stay for 5 days

J'ai séjourné dans cet établissement pendant 26 jours (en raison d'un stage d'une durée de 4 semaines) dans une chambre simple avec balcon (la 31 donc au 3ème étage). Points positifs : - Emplacement de l'hôtel : situé dans un point stratégique de la ville à proximité de tout (restaurants, monuments, supermarchés, pharmacies, plage, station de bus) - Chambre : je sortais tôt le matin et je rentrais vers la fin de l'après-midi, elle était suffisante pour dormir - Femmes de ménage : les serviettes de bain ainsi que la poubelle étaient changées tous les jours. Elles me fournissaient également des draps toute les semaines - Climatisation : la chambre était équipée d'une clim qui fonctionnait correctement Points négatifs/à améliorer: - L'isolation : les portes donnant au balcon ne fermaient pas totalement ce qui laissait passer le froid et le bruit venant de l'extérieur. De plus, les voisins fumaient de l'herbe et l'odeur insupportable restait dans la chambre. - Porte principale : j'ai remarqué plusieurs fois que la porte d'entrée était souvent laissée entrouverte avec du papier. De plus, pour ma part, je trouve que le code devrait être changé toutes les semaines afin de garantir une meilleure sécurité de l'établissement - Salle de bain : douche très petite, pas très pratique pour se doucher - Chambre: elle dispose seulement d'une prise, ce que je trouve dommage - Salle commune: la disposition d'un microondes serait pratique pour réchauffer nos repas
