The room was not properly clean when I entered, but when I told the front desk, she came and cleaned it. However, then the cleaning fluid smell was so strong. Also, I could hear other people's TVs. And a group of people sat outside my room in their chairs and drank alcohol and talk. It was very trashy. I would never stay there again.

Get what you pay for.
Desk was friendly and polite but motel is old, outdated. The grout was nasty. Toilet tank propped up with a 2x4. Nasty old woman 2 rooms down smoking like a chimney in her doorway and my room was no smoking. Bed spread felt like a moving blanket.

The Fincastle Motor Inn is an older property, but very clean. I have stayed here previously and when in the area, would stay here again. It is quiet and the owners are friendly and welcoming.
