Great family stay. The room was good, clean and a nice size. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great. The pool was lovely. My family enjoyed the golf a great deal. The hotel was very pretty friendly and welcoming. We would happily recommend and are already planning a return visit in autumn.

Ensuite extractor fan not working. Heated towel rail on permanently during hot weather. Room a bit dated. No aircon and windows have very restricted opening. Generally a nice hotel and great staff

The staff were very helpful and efficient ( reception and dining staff). However the rooms were a bit tired. The furniture was old and paint was coming off the bathroom door. There were no glasses in the bathroom and the tissue box was virtually empty. I tried to ring reception but the phone didn’t work. We had booked a deluxe king room but it was average.

Lovely hotel could be a 5* review with improvement
A modern and comfortable hotel with a lovely breakfast included in the price. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Telford and is set in lovely grounds. I haven’t rated it 5*s as the check in was slow due to there only being on member of staff on at reception, the pool being cold and us not getting bottles of water in our room for the first night but getting them for the second.

Lack lustre overpriced mediocre 4 star
The hotel is in beautiful surroundings and the reception, bar and restaurant are relatively modern. The restaurant food is poor quality and very overpriced. I expected much more and was left feeling hungry and dissatisfied. The hotel corridors are dusty and cobwebs in the corners. Cobwebs on light fittings above the bed. Old batteries in Aircon, went to reception who swapped them for more old batteries which gave up the ghost during the evening. Why not put new batteries in? Very comfortable bed though.
