This is a beautiful stone built House dating back to 1850 with a small garden and BBQ area, set in a beautiful south facing unspoilt location.
The house has many unique features but at the same time is warm and cosy. Exposed stone, low ceilings, high ceilings, lime plastered rounded walls, beams, woodburner, original fireplaces and more......truly unique.
This is great base for exploring Ireland we are very accessible to the motorways connecting Dublin, Limerick, Galway & Cork.
Our place is great for longer stays as the location makes it easy to explore the South of Ireland as it's not far from Limerick, Clare, Cork, Dublin, Galway, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Waterford, Wexford etc. I give a generous discounts for 7 & 30 day stays.
The house has been refreshed in Summer 2023 as a new kitchen has been fitted and all the bed linen, towels etc updated anticipating that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The house is a traditional Irish Farmhouse in a unique countryside position with no other houses within sight. Set in the middle of farmland it is ideal for those looking for a peaceful and restful holiday wishing to experience real Ireland.

Cork to Blacklion area in the Breifne area of Co Leitrim And Cavan. Close to the ancestral home, Moneygall, of President Barack Obhama.
The house is brilliant if you enjoy walking, just get your boots on, step out the door turn left or right and there are miles of beautiful Irish countryside to enjoy. A great place to bring your mountain bike too - lots of off road biking available on your doorstep and the Silvermines very close by.

Post office
Pub
Community Centre

The neighborhood is situated in a working farming area. You will experience the real Ireland if you want it. The local village is very friendly and has a small shop good for the essentials, the nearest good food store is in Borrisoleigh - a 10 minute drive from the house. The nearest large town is Nenagh, 9km, named by Trip Adviser as the friendliest place in Ireland!
