Room was great but it's always a But !
Well my stay was great. But honestly I mistakenly made this reservations for the 11th of August. But I wanted it for the 4th of August and I wasn't allowed to change it without having to pay $115 again. Which sucked but I just kept the room anyway. And it was great.

Needs updating
We stayed here as an overnight stay. It's off the beaten path not easy to get to. The room was very warm when we got there. Thermostat on 86. The room was very damp and humid. The floors were damp the sheets on the bed were damp pretty much everything was damp. The lamp shade was broken and hanging sideways and the remote for the TV had packaging tape over the battery compartment so the batteries kept popping loose. If it hadn't been so late when we got in we would have asked for a different room. I would not recommend this hotel but there might be better rooms. It's a dated hotel. The staff was very nice.

Serves its purpose.
The room is adequate for its purpose. This is not a vacay destination. It’s more of a road-trip sleep stop and this works for that. There are a couple of dining options within walking distance and it’s right on the highway so it’s convenient. The hotel could use updates.

We just needed the stay to avoid traveling home late at night after an event. We actually didn't get to check in until late, but the staff on duty was cheerful and kind, and the staff in the morning was cheerful and kind as well.

Although this is an older hotel, it was clean and comfortable. It had received damage from a very recent tornado and our room on the third floor had a leaking window. A musty small was beginning to show up, and I’m sure the management is taking steps to get issues corrected and make improvements along the way. The staff was very kind and helpful, and breakfast was delicious and the breakfast area very clean!
