 completely renovated in December 2017, incorporated; on the ground floor, a living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, a shower room and a toilet. All giving full foot access to a fenced green space and a large covered terrace flowered in fine weather.

Wonderful memories
Our experience at Daniele and Pascal’s house in Thannenkirch was a 5-star experience. Daniele and Pascal were charming, generous, friendly, and helpful which, of course, helped make our stay a memorable one. The house itself is a gem and we didn’t lack for anything. It’s close to most areas of interest in the Grand-Est and the beauty of the region filled our hearts. We can’t say enough about our 3 weeks at La Randonnee – highly, highly recommend it. Thank you very much, Daniele and Pascal!

As always, i wrote a 'hello' email one week prior, but received no reply. We arrived to find a front door covered in cobwebs with no one answering. What to do? I knocked on the neigbour's door to seek help. They were so kind and showed me the locality of the locked box, containing the key. But i had not been advised of the code. After an extended phone conversation in French between neighbour and owner, the neighbour opened the lock box and so kindly helped us enter. At no time did the owner show any interest in us during the 7 days, but for seeking additional money from us directly after we had paid VRBO directly in full. The property was not clean. The linen was very poor......old towels and cheap sheets. The bed mattress was inferior and uncomfortable. In my opinion, it is a disgrace that we were not met on arrival. Beware of these people.

Perfect house in small village
Perfect house in small quiet village nestled amongst the stunning scenery and Alsace vineyards on the Route des Vins. The house was clean, well equipped with everything you need for a home away from home cleaning products, crockery, garden loungers everything included. Thank you Pascal also for the lovely cake and bottle of sparkly it was very much appreciated. Check in easy also. Very relaxing week away.

Beautiful Cottage and area
The cottage is wonderful with everything you would need, plenty of room inside and outside ( you can even sit outside, stay dry and watch the odd thunderstorm go over) and situated in a nice village with easy access to Strasbourg, Europa-Park. Castles, numerous beautiful villages and all within the Alsace wine route. It was great getting back to the cottage after a day’s adventure, kicking back and relaxing. Pascal and Danièle were lovely, warm and welcoming. We would not hesitate to recommend this cottage for anyone.

Beauty of Alsace
Excellent property set in the peaceful village of Thannenkirch. Amenities close by in the town of Ribeauville (supermarket, fuel, gift shops). Beautiful scenery of the Vosges Mountains and Alsace Vineyards. Property was comfortable, and everything of a high standard. This was our second visit to the property and we’ve booked already for 2020 - whatever time of year you visit the property has everything you could need for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

A Hidden gem for peace and relaxation with hosts who try a bit harder than most.
Spent a week at this marvellous cottage. Every thing about it was just right. Despite the snow at the beginning of the week it was warm and cosy. Pascal and Danielle made us feel very welcome. Despite the language barrier everything was explained in full. The cottage had every thing we needed great walks from the backdoor that took in mountain trails to historic Chateaux old walled towns and immaculate vineyards. It is possible to take nice easy strolls into the village or long distance walks on well maintained paths that are well marked. The hot baths at Freiburg are well worth a visit and less than an hour away. The cottage was clean and obviously well maintained a wood burning stove and a well equipped kitchen kept us happy in the evenings. We will definitely put this on our places to return to. A big thank you to Pascal and Danielle for a great week.

The house in the hillside village of Thannenkirch was delightful and met all our holiday wishes
La Randonnée was delightful; the location was a short drive through the vineyards to the famous Christmas villages, and our hosts Pascal and Danielle were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The gîte was fully appointed, so home-cooked meals in front of the fire at night were easily done and thoroughly enjoyed.

Wunderschöner Herbsturlaub
Das Ehepaar Culli hat uns sehr herzlich begrüßt. Neben einer guten Flasche Crémant d´Alsace und einem leckerem Kuchen haben wir noch einige andere nette Aufmerksamkeiten vorgefunden. Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr gemütich. Man findet hier alles, was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Die Abende vor dem Kamin waren besonders schön, um den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Der Garten ist sehr schön und man hat eine tolle Aussicht. Außerdem ist er "ausbruchsicher" eingezäunt - was für Hundehalter sehr wichtig ist. Wir hatten einen tollen Herbsturlaub, in einer abwechslungsreichen Gegend mit entzückenden kleinen Orten. Herzlichen Dank an das sympathische Ehepaar Culli!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft
Das Haus war perfekt ausgestattet, je ein Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss und im ersten Stock, schöner Kamin, alles in hervorragendem Zustand. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, spricht gut Deutsch. Wer eine ruhige, abgeschiedene Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht so gut zu erreichen (kurvige Bergstrecke nach Ribeauville).

Wir -mein Mann, meine Schwester und ich- waren eine Woche in diesem schönen, liebevoll gestalteten Ferienhaus mit Garten. Auch unsere 2 Hunde fühlten sich hier sehr wohl. Die Gastgeber sind überaus freundlich! Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön und es fehlt an nichts! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Un charmant petit cottage!
Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem wunderschönen Häuschen sehr genossen. Es war sehr ruhig und entspannend und der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war auch sehr sehr sehr nett und freundlich. Wir können einen Aufenthalt in la Randon uneingeschränkt empfehlen und bedanken uns ganz herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans ce magnifique petit cottage. C'était très calme et relaxant, et le contact avec les hôtes était également extrêmement agréable et amical. Nous recommandons vivement un séjour à La Randonné et remercions chaleureusement pour l'hospitalité.

liebevoll ausgestattetes Häuschen in den Bergen
Der Check-in war toll vom Vermieter organisiert mit einem Schlüsselsafe. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war tadellos. Das Häuschen präsentiert sich als typisches Haus aus dem Elsass. Es gibt eine herrlich große überdachte Terrasse, die wunderbar vor den sommerlichen Temperaturen schützt und bei Regen trotzdem einen trockenen Essplatz bietet. Das Haus selbst ist wie ein Eintritt in eine Puppenstube, alles sehr liebevoll und mit vielen Details und passenden Massivholzmöbeln eingerichtet. Den Kamin haben wir im Sommer natürlich nicht benötigt. Es sind 2 Bäder vorhanden, die beide mit WC und Dusche ausgestattt sind. Die Küche bietet alles was man benötigt - insbesondere einen großen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach. Das fanden wir sehr hilfreiche, da es bis auf einen sehr wunderbaren Biobäcker keine Einkaufmöglichkeit im Ort gibt und wir im Tal für mehrere Tage eingekauft haben. Der Garten ist klein, aber hübsch angelegt und vollständig eingezäunt, was hilfreich war, denn der Hund konnte so nicht auf die Strasse laufen. Leider war der im Expose angegebene Pool nicht vorhanden, so dass das Baden und abendliche Abkühlen nach unseren Ausflügen ausfiel bzw. verlagert werden musste. Hier sollte der Vermieter eine Korrektur seiner Ausstattungsmerkmale vornehmen. Die auf Google zu sehenden Teich in der Umgebung vom Thannenkirch sind zum Baden nicht geeignet. Die Garage ist geräumig und die Auffahrt groß genug, um mit unserem VW Bus inkl. Fahrradanhänger davor zu parken.

Fijn huis in een prachtige omgeving!
We zijn 2 weken in het huis geweest in juli 2024. Ondanks de taalbarrière hadden we een prettige ontvangst door de eigenaren. Erg prettige mensen. Het huisje oogde vrij donker binnen, maar toen de temperatuur buiten opliep tot boven de 32 graden bleef het hierdoor heerlijk fris. Het afdak boven het terras was ideaal. We hebben alleen maar buiten gegeten, heerlijk! In het huis was alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt voor een comfortabele vakantie. We hebben nergens op mis gegrepen. De omgeving is prachtig. Mooie stadjes op korte afstand en binnen een paar minuten lopen stond je midden in de natuur (mooie wandelpaden). Kortom, een aanrader!

Traumurlaub in einem Traumhaus
2 wochen in sehr malerischer Umgebung. Das haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was das herz begehrt. Es ist sehr liebevoll ausgestattet , sehr schön aufgeteilt und für alle Jahreszeiten perfekt aufgestellt. Wir waren mit unseren beiden hunden im mai im elsass und hatten mit dem haus einen idealen Ausgangspunkt für unsere Wanderungen. Auch das chillen , grillen und ruhe in der zeit war perfekt. Für eine Auszeit oder auch für einen aktivurlaub ist das haus ideal. Die gastgeber waren extrem freundlich, und hilfsbereit. Vielen dank nochmal für die sehr leckeren willkommespräsente und abschieddgeschenke. Kurzum besser geht es nicht. 5 ****** plus für die gastgeber und das Ferienhaus.

Excellent séjour passé chez Danièle et Pascal dans un cadre merveilleux. Accueil chaleureux avec de petites gateries. Un délice. Une maison magnifique conforme à nos attentes et aux photos. Rien ne manque dans ce cocon ou il fait bon vivre. Calme, beauté des lieux touristiques. Rien de tel pour passer un excellent séjour et se ressourcer. Nous tenons à vous remercier . Nous reviendrons.
