Fabulous, peaceful place to stay
After a long drive from Calais, a perfect place to stay in the quiet of the countryside. A warm friendly welcome, spacious rooms, an excellent restaurant, even catering for my wife, vegetarian, and myself with a dairy product allergy. We had a great meal washed down with some good very local wine. We were so relaxed, we slept in by an hour more than usual

Country chateau on the way from Paris to Biarritz
Lovely stay at this rustic country chateau, reminiscent of an old winery or convent. The countryside around Thenac is quite beautiful and the setting is perfect. Room, service, and food were all excellent.

Hyggeligt chauteau langt fra alting. Der stĆ„r bar og restaurante, men det havde de valgt at lukke. Det betĆød at vi mĆ„tte kĆører 10 km. for at fĆ„ aftensmad, da der ikke er nogle restauranter i nƦrheden. Havde vi vidst det, havde vi valgt et andet sted, at overnatte. Det var en skam, for stedet kunne havde vƦret hyggeligt.
