Beautiful Cottage near Sequoia with EV charger, fireplace

If you are seeking a well designed and outfitted home base for your couple’s retreat then Redtail Cottage should not be missed. It is a “Guest Favorite” with five star reviews given by every guest since it first listed in 2018. The setting is leafy and beautiful, close to the village shopping but remote and just a few miles up the road from Sequoia National Park. Guests tell of breakfasts on the private deck while watching quail families and bunnies romp on the private road; and dinners watching the sunset after grilling on the front porch just outside of the kitchen door. The Cal-King bed is wonderfully comfortable and the high end linens and black out curtains guarantee a fabulous rest after long hikes in the National Park. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, full size frig, dishwasher, coffee/tea service area and all the expected accessories with helpful spice selections. There are two AC/heat units on separate thermostats and even your own private washer and dryer with all the supplies. There is a darling English replica propane fireplace, two smart tvs and even a Tesla series 2 EV charger (TeslaTap adaptor is in the cupboard for universal charging). The free wi-fi is yours alone so you can download and share your pictures with friends and family and sign in to your video accounts. Great Stay in Three Rivers near Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park
Great little cottage in Three Rivers near Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. We were10 minutes away from the Sequoia entrance. The town had a few cute restaurants and great coffee shops as well as a fantastic frozen yogurt place. Linda and Tom provided everything we needed and were gracious host. My wife and I would highly recommend this place for your stay.

Awesome home away from home
This is one special property with master hosts that have thought of everything and created a welcoming space for travelers. Quiet, secluded, convenient to Sequoia National Park and the lake/river. Appliances, equipment, IT is topnotch and all in excellent condition and operation. Everything you need to cook including pantry items and spices. Washer & dryer with laundry supplies! A diverse collection of books & magazines with a lovely deck for relaxing and reading surrounded by the songs of quail, redtail hawks, and lots of other happy birds. When you book this cottage make sure you add in a couple of down days so you can enjoy the cottage itself! As with most small remote towns across America, expect to pay more if you shop in the local market - well supplied but pricey. Easy access to restaurants if you want someone else to do the cooking. Hosts provide information and maps about the local area and history. This property is even better than the listing describes - we are trying to figure out a reason to come back! Many thanks to the hosts!!

Fantastic cabin right next to Sequoia National Park
We stayed in the cabin for three nights, and found it to be a fantastic place to stay. The cabin was clean and comfy. It was well equipped with everything that you could want for your stay. And it's located within a few miles of Sequoia National Park, so you can easily go hiking and exploring every day during your stay. The owners were super, and made sure we had a great time. This is definitely the place that we'll stay during our next trip to Sequoia.

Perfectly cozy!
This was the perfect place for us to stay in order to visit Sequoia National Park. After being out all day, it was nice to come back to this cute cottage and relax in front of the fireplace. We had everything we needed to cook in the well stocked kitchen and the surrounding area was quiet. We enjoyed the local historical museum and restaurants and brewery. I would like to visit again because we couldn't see the whole park due to snow. Thank you Linda and Tom!

If you are planning to visit Sequoia and would like to stay near the Foothills Visitor center (Three Rivers), then this is an excellent choice. Cottage was well equipped and very peaceful. Communication with the host was great. Really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful little cabin outside of sequoia national park. The majestic sequoia trees were the highlight of our stay. The hiking and local sites were also a wonderful part of our experience. A beautiful few days in a beautiful part of the country for a very memorable experience.

Very comfortable cottage
This was a great stay. Beautiful up to date cottage. Bed was comfortable and bedroom had cushy carpet. Kitchen was stocked well. Washer/dryer was convenient. And having EV charging was great. Everything in town is relatively close, and was very easy to go into Sequoia. Hiking around the rivers was also beautiful.

Nice Relaxing Stay
The proximity of the cottage to the entrance of Sequoia National Park is only 8 miles. Staying in this nice cottage and not a hotel or motel is my preference for sure. The cottage has a great kitchen so we made breakfast and dinners every night and the bed is extremely comfortable. Tom and Linda were great host!

Beautiful Cottage Outside of Sequoia National Park
The cottage was just as described and great location to the park, restaurants and not far from the Fresno airport. It was the perfect place to wind down after a day of hiking. Definitely recommend!

Lovely setting and great hosts
What a great place to stay in Three Rivers. It was a quiet oasis after hiking all day at Sequoia. The cottage has everything you need. Lovely decor and nice king sized bed. I would love the kitchen in my home. Thank you also for having kleenex in the bedroom as well as the bathroom. Linda and Tom were very attentive to our comfort at the cottage and kept us up to date during our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the national parks or other recreation places in the area.

The perfect cabin for two. Lots of room in a small package. Plenty of amenities. Every time I wondered if thete was something I needed, it was there. One minor complaint..the water temp in the shower was hard to regulate. Finally, my really wants to know where the dishes came fro. She loved the pattern...
