Wonderful Stay
My sister and I had a wonderful Time at the Red Mountain Suite. Perfect location, very clean and convenient. Great communication. We lost power for a while due to a storm and the hosts came by with Lanterns right away. We’d recommend this property to anyone.

Another Nice Stay in Three Rivers
Spacious, clean and well appointed property with a good location between Three Rivers businesses and the Sequoia National Park entrance. Entrance to the property can be a little tricky to spot (esp. after dark coming from the park). We even enjoyed some decent birdwatching right from the front of the property. There's no cell service at the property, so you'll have to rely on Wi-Fi for communication. All in all, a very nice stay for a couple's getaway!

The perfect stay in Sequoia!!
If you're looking to book a place to stay for your trip to Sequoia National Park, look no further!! Not only was this place super clean, the hosts were fantastic and supplied all of the necessary information with clear instruction. Not only this, but the hosts provided ALL of the little touches you'd want during your stay-- complimentary amenities, like snack bars and trail mix--that added to the already over-the-top charm! On top of all this, the location was the closest I've ever been to the gates of a National Park -- literally 3 minutes away. Just awesome!

The Rose Retreat was absolutely perfect for our trip to Sequoia National Park. It was close to the entrance and a short drive to the market and restaurants. We loved drinking our morning coffee while watching the birds and squirels outside the window. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Quiet, cozy, and safe
I took myself on a solo weekend adventure of the parks and wanted to stay somewhere that I would feel safe being alone. I felt very safe here, as well as pampered. The hosts had so many thoughtful touches to the property that I felt like someone was looking out for me. It is the perfect distance to the park while still being far enough out to enjoy the local shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this place!

Really nice suite and very clean. Lori and John are really great hosts. The place is conveniently located about a mile from the SNP entrance. Lori & John are really great hosts! They provide you with snacks and send you a list of local places to eat and nearby shops and markets. They also provide the days and times they are open, which was also very helpful because the days I was there some places did not open on those days and I would not have known this. Lori was very communicative as well. She made me aware of local weather conditions and of a nearby fire that was not a cause for concern, but wanted to make me aware of it. I would highly recommend staying there.

The very best retreat we’ve ever had. You can not improve on a single thing here. Our Hosts were available easily and so gracious. The bed was very comfortable and linens and towels were nice. If you want a private , clean and tranquil place to stay this is your place! It was great to be less than a mile from the National park entrance and so close to restaurants right on the water! Beautiful Spot!
This place is in a very convenient location to get into Sequoia or up to Mineral King for some great hiking. The unit has lots of windows to look out at the beautiful mountains. The accommodations were comfortable, the decor was lovely, and everything was very clean. There were many thoughtful touches like coffee pods, water bottles, healthy snacks, and extra towels. It was nice to sit outdoors in the evening to watch the birds and squirrels at the feeder. There were also picnic tables and a grill. All in all, this was a great place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We had a wonderful 3 nites stay. Great communications from the host prior to the checking in. The property settings were peaceful, tranquil and quiet. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities needed for our stay. It is definitely our home away from home. We are so glad that we found this place for our visit to the national parks. We highly recommend this property and will definitely return if we come this way agin. By the way, we left behind a small backpack and the host is kind enough to send it back to us. This is what I called customer service.

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at Rose Retreat. The room was perfect! We slept well on the very comfortable bed and used the ceiling fan and/or AC as needed. The furniture was high quality as were the linens. The bath was decorated beautifully and the shower was perfect. Our hosts really cared about our comfort. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening and listening to the birds. Finally, the location was excellent- about 2 minutes from the park entrance. We highly recommend this cabin and would love to return soon.

Great romantic getaway in nature
The place is immaculate. It is tastefully decorated with different colored wood tables and a headboard blending together to create a very woodsy but modern look. The bed is very comfortable and the linens are soft. The little kitchen area is tasteful and includes a basket of great coffee and tea pods and other extras like granola bars. The shower area is large, decorated with small tile and offers tremendous water pressure. I grilled ribeye on Thanksgiving; it heated up quickly and it had all the necessary utensils. The hosts are very gracious as they apologized for the Wifi which went out in the entire 3 Rivers area. They offered an early check in, but sadly we couldn't take advantage. The only slight negative but one that seems to be consistent with 3 Rivers, is that the river running through town is private. I had never heard of such a thing. So though the river is truly a 1 minute walk from the house, you can't get next to it. You must either head into Sequioa National Park, head out of town or take advantage of someone Lori and John know who offers private river access at a price. Note: Many of the places on the river are charging a premium for that access and the places are not as nice as this place. So you may pay 300 instead of 200 for an average place next to the river. I look forward to many more visits to Lori and John's place.
