Not Ideal Stay
Unfortunately, although the beds and bathroom appeared clean, it was impossible to get past the filthy carpet as you entered the room. This disgusted us. The room smelled damp. Slept with socks on in order to avoid walking on the carpet. I recommend removing the carpet and replacing the carpet with laminate or vinyl. We will avoid this brand of hotel.

Room was clean but not comfortable because we could not control the temperature. Unit was very noisy and we couldn’t shut it off. Kept us awake most of the night. The dog owner brought their barking dog to the breakfast room so we had to put up with an annoying barking dog.

Clean and comfortable room. Property is nice. Check in was a bit cumbersome - seemed like it needed a “technology” upgrade as clerk had to locate paper reservation. Price was competitive with nearby and comparable properties. Was never le to connect with hotel WiFi; used hot spot technology through my phone, but would have preferred hi speed access.

The hotel was as described and we had comfortable bed and nice hot water for showering. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly & welcoming.

One of my worst hotel experiences
I arrived at the hotel and told the front desk I had a reservation. He replied "no you don't" before he even looked. I said, "actually I do, and I have the email confirmation here." He fiddled around on the computer for a second and then said "oh, well we ran your card before you got here and it didn't clear." That was definitely not the case. He argued with me some more about it before he went back to the computer and said well, the room is still available so he took about 30 minutes and said he got everything straightened back out. Room was fine, nothing special. The next day I noticed i was charged 3 times. Hotels.com customer service called them and they told CS it was an authorization charge and it would be gone within 7 days. I've never had an authorization charge show up in multiple transactions. Overall displeased with this stay.
