Avoid this hotel
I am starting this review by staying the manager reimbursed our hotel room after our experience. That being said, this was a terrible experience. The first room that was given to us, had multiple live roaches all around the refrigerator. For most people they would already be ready to demand a refund but I try show grace towards people. I informed the lady at the front desk and she apologized and offered to move us to a new room which I accepted and switched us rooms to the 2nd floor, room 217. It stormed that night and the amount of water that poured through the light fixture in the bathroom would qualify as a waterfall. The floor between the 2 queen beds was flooded along the wall. Keep in mind we are on the 2nd floor of 3 floors so how this was happening was mind boggling. I then took a video and showed the gentleman at the desk that that time, around 5am, and he said he had never seen that before. I asked him if the manager was there and he said not until later in the morning. The person at the desk offered to move us again, but at 5am there was no point in moving and we’ve had enough. I took the managers card and called later in the morning but the manager was still not in so we left a message with the front desk asking the manager to call back. The manager didn’t call back but rather sent an email apologizing for the experience. That tells me that they likely knew there was an ongoing issue and in the email they immediately offered a refund on the room.

For the area it’s the nicest one
When I arrived at 3ish, our room wasn’t available and they weren’t sure when it would be. There was mold around the knobs to turn on water for the bathroom. When we asked for extra towels as we are a family of four. We only had two. They never brought extra towels. The guy when I checked out refused to give me my receipt. It was a quiet hotel. No one bother us.

It’s okay.
The lady at check-in was very pleasant and friendly. The sleeping area was clean. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint was the floor in the bathroom. It appears to be a makeover tile floor but the construction was poor. The grout does not fill in the edges against the wall or tub. Hair and other debris cover all those areas and the grout seams are dirty. I really not think it has much to do with the cleaning staff as the rest of the room was very kept. The bathroom floor just makes the bathroom and entry way feel dirty.

Cleaning lady stole my pocket knife that I used to cut fruit. She left more of mess than actually cleaning the room. Did not clean the countertops or sink. Website did not say pool was closed. That was the main reason I booked the hotel for the pool. Told them I just wanted to use the lounger not to swim water was too cold anyways. Still would not let me use a chair or lounger.

We stopped here halfway during our roadtrip. I loved the hotel it was clean and comfortable. They have board games and kids coloring books available to borrow at the front desk. Hot breakfast and comfortable beds. I'm so glad that we picked this spot. I would definitely stay here again

The staff we're very nice and hospitable. I usually stay at Hilton properties because I have expectations of property. My particular room was in dire need of renovation. The bed had indentations and you could see where people had slept. These sheets were no longer soft. And desperate need of renovation. I also noticed roaches and which I informed the front staff which they said they would take care of immediately.
