The Tilghman Island “Point of View” is a waterfront property located on Tilghman Island, with a 270-degree water view overlooking both Dogwood Harbor and Harris Creek. Step back in time to experience a slower, friendlier lifestyle while immersed in the waterman’s way of life. Steeped in history going back to the earliest settlements in North America, Tilghman Island is an authentic waterman’s village. Perfectly situated on the Maryland crab and oyster trail, the Island is known for serving up some of the most delicious seafood in the country. Island attractions include restaurants, shops, parks and a museum all set in the beautiful natural habitat of the Chesapeake. The “Point of View” is a beautiful two-bedroom waterfront cottage, recently renovated and fully furnished in coastal decor. Experience incredible, panoramic sunrises and sunsets, and chillingly beautiful moon rises over the Chesapeake Bay and Choptank River basin from the yard or balcony. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the local waterman setting out and returning with their days’ catch of crabs, oysters, clams and fish. Walk or kayak the shoreline searching for sea glass treasures and observing the local wildlife (bald eagles, osprey, pelicans, loons, geese, cormorants, wild turkeys and so much more – this is a Birder’s paradise). Take a stroll or ride a bike to Island attractions including all restaurants and shops. Try your luck at catching your own seafood by casting a fishing rod or dropping a crab line from our private dock. The Point of View is located within walking distance to the launch point of a boat trip to the Poplar Island’s Wildlife Sanctuary and The Tilghman Island Watermen’s Museum. Arrive by boat or car – and if you arrive by car, you will come over the uniquely beautiful Tilghman Island draw bridge. Kayaks and bicycles provided.
