Very nice for peaceful family getaway
Stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed the beautiful lake view; direct access to the lake for boating and swimming; and morning coffee on the dock. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, appliances, pots and pans, etc. The living area was cozy and we enjoyed the hot tub as well as the other amenities (2 kayaks, a row boat, and the fire pit.) House was comfortable for our family of 4 plus our puppy.

Great lake front property
Our stay overall was great. The best part was definitely the backyard facing the lake. If you enjoy wild life animals, you would like the daily visits from deer, groundhog, turtles and ducks. Having access to the beautiful private lake with 1 dingy and 2 kayaks added a lot of fun. The fire pit was also great with a mountain of fire wood the owner provided. The hot tub was also a huge hit and it seemed very clean. Small cons: AC units in the rooms are loud (but works fine). No shampoo/conditioner/salt/pepper (we knew this was the case) so bring your own. Would definitely recommend it

Great Experience!
We loved this house. It is perfectly located right on the lake with beautiful views. We loved using the Kayaks, fishing, BBQ etc and the hot tub was great. The house was big and comfortable enough for the week for my husband, our teenage son and our 2 med. sized dogs. There are great walks around the community and also the park and everyone is very friendly. When we had a question about working something in the house the call was responded to immediately. Check-in with the community was quick and easy. Unfortunately, he last few days we were stuck inside due to Tropical Storm Debby coming through but there were lots of books to read and fun games! We will definitely be back next year!

Adequate; Needs Improvements
Checked in at 2 instead of 4 after getting w/ the host. Check in process very tedious! It’d be nice to have the parking vouchers taken care of prior to arriving as a convenience. The house hadn’t been cleaned upon arriving. Ivy was called twice to let her know. Housekeeping went to the wrong house, so they sent 2 cleaning ladies. It took a while for them to arrive. We were thankful we got there earlier because we wouldn’t have been able to settle in until much later! We received an apology and an offer to waive the early check in fee, which we didn’t incur. For what we paid for the house, that just put a damper on things. The umbrella on the deck was difficult to open and is kind of broken. The grill worked fine but house keeping could’ve cleaned under the grill where there was a charred broken up piece of cardboard. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked clean. The fire pit was nice. The paddle boat/kayaks were fun. There was poop all over the yard even after housekeeping checked around so we had to clean that up. The oven hood light needs fixed since that doesn’t work. The frying pans are warped and badly need replaced! Some stuff needed cleaned before using. Steak knives would be. The washer smelled mildewy. The utensil drawer slides out awkwardly. The upstairs shower head leaks, but water pressure’s good. The entryway smells dirty, maybe from the rug? The mattresses were either too hard/too soft. Only portable AC in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. Back door lock doesn’t work.

June 2024 stay
Whoever the contact was through Vrbo has never actually been to the property. Make sure you get a confirmation number to check in. We did not have one and it took way longer than it should have, they had to contact the property owner to verify us. First impressions of the house were ok. We were there during a heat wave and was unhappy that there was only one window a/c downstairs and only 2 of the 3 bedrooms had a portable unit (they are very noisy so if you have any trouble sleeping through noise bring ear plugs). But with all the ceiling fans it wasn't too bad. The fitted sheets in all the bedrooms would pull off every night, and the upstairs shower steam set off the smoke alarm. The house is smaller than it appears in the photos, and the kitchen could really use an update but it was clean and the outside dock was where we spent most of our time. Needed to contact the on site manager, Ivy, and she was great. Overall it was pretty much what we expected and we did have a good time.

Just as advertised
Booked this property for a long weekend with family. Everything was just as description and photos showed. Weather wasn’t the greatest but the boats the firewood and fire pit the hot tub and fireplace made up for it. We wanted a place to just get away and relax and this place really came through. Thanks Ivy and your team. Oh make sure you like deer because there all around. One little buck would come up on the deck and bang on the door. Not kidding.

House is Nice, Host Not So Much...
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house, thanks to its well-stocked amenities, including toilet paper, paper towels, bathroom towels, and kitchen essentials to just name a few. The house was clean, well-maintained, and as advertised. However, our experience with the host, Ivy was extremely disappointing. Regrettably, due to this, we won't be returning next year as we had initially planned. We hope the owner reaches out to discuss our concerns, as we are still awaiting a response to texts sent to Ivy during our stay.

Stay on the Lake
This was a really nice place to relax for a weekend with friends. After reading some other reviews I was a little concerned that the kitchen would be not great for cooking but this was NOT the case. The kitchen is equipped with everything one would need and more than adequate utensils, tools, plates and glassware. There were spices to use and K-Cup coffee provided as well. The living area is super comfortable and we enjoyed the gas fire place one rainy evening. The bedrooms were also clean and comfortable and I found the beds and linens nice as well. The best part of the property is the lake which is stunning. We built a fire in the fire pit (firewood was provided but I recommend you bring newspaper or fire starters to make lighting a fire easier) and while we sat around it we were visited by ducks and geese and a small herd of deer. We used the kayaks and the paddle boat and floated around the lake one afternoon as well. We enjoyed the hot tub both nights and it was easy to operate and lovely to be in under the stars. The houses next door are pretty close but we were not bothered by that and felt we had enough privacy and space to ourselves. I had great communication with Ivy, the property manager, who quickly answered questions via text. This is definitely a place I would recommend to friends.

Lovely home but imposed last-minute legal threats
The house was lovely, clean, and as-advertised. But, on principle, the last minute demand to sign multiple agreements imposing liability for any number of things above and beyond the listed price was an uncomfortable imposition that colored the entire experience. It would have been one thing to request agreement to multiple contracts at the time of booking, but to spring those upon me only months after booking, with less than a week before arrival, is an unprincipled practice.

Should be better
This was a perfectly nice old fashioned lake house, and our family had a good time, but there were what felt like dozens of glitches that clouded our experience. Right off the bat, a few things didn’t work until the next day when the host came over — like the gas fireplace, which was supposed to go on at the flip of a switch but didn’t; the TV, which turned out to be plugged into the wrong socket; and the coffee maker, which simply did not work. The kitchen would be fine if there were lightbulbs above 40w, the drawers didn’t threaten to fall on the floor, and the cupboards contained the most basic things, like salt. We were told that salt — and body wash — were personal items. And speaking of personal items, there was exactly one roll of toilet paper in a house with two bathrooms that allegedly accommodates 8 people, and zero paper towels. The host offered to reimburse us for toilet paper and salt, but it shouldn’t be like that. All that said, the kayaks were swell, the firepit a pleasure, and the deer friendly.

Property was more than we expected. Exceptionally clean. Fun items. Granddaughters decided hot tub and hammock were the best. Those items are now on their Christmas list. Hated to leave. The little things impressed us: coffee pods, teabags, etc. Kitchen has everything you need. View beautiful.

Amazing long weekend
This house is a must see. Pics do not do it justice. It is a gem. You are right on the lake and all of amenities are there for you. The paddle boat, kayaks, row boat. The house was spotless and everything we needed was there. The only thing we went to the store was for food. The yard is well manicured, there was plenty of seating inside and out. The hot tub was immacualte and very well maintained. When we were getting ready to leave they were cleaning the hot tub so after every stay this is cleaned etc. Which is a key factor to mention. I cannot say enough about this great property. If i could give 10 stars I would. Can't wait to come back here.

Nice cabin with a great Lake view
We came for a family getaway. The views of the lake were beautiful. We were told that the cleaners were there the day before our arrival. When we got there it smelled like someone sprayed way too much of some sort of an air freshener, but we opened the windows and sliders and the smell dissipated a bit. The place was a little more outdated than I expected. But overall it was a nice little getaway with the family. Pros: -Fantastic views. -Nice homey vibe -Kitchen stocked with plates, bowls, cups. -the kids had fun taking the paddleboat out with my husband. - hot tub was nice to have. We only used it our last night there, but it was a nice way to end our trip. -there is a groundhog living under the shed- we got to see him a few times which was pretty cool. -the deer passing through the yard in the morning and evening were a hit with the kids. -BBQ and outdoor patio set were in good shape. We enjoyed hanging on the deck on the warmer days of our trip. -we used the pack n play that was at the house and it looked brand new. The baby slept great! -Ivy was great! She responded quickly. -neighborhood was quiet Cons: -There wasn’t really anywhere to store the snacks we brought for the trip (all cabinets were packed with dishes), so we just used the peninsula for everything. -we couldn’t get the fireplace to work. Ivy was willing to come out and take a look, but we weren’t too concerned about using it. Have them check this out before you go if you want to use it. -all of the frying pans in the kitchen were warped and would not sit flat on the cooktop. Updated pots and pans would be a recommendation. - the outlets in the house were a bit wonky. Some didn’t work at all, some only had the top or bottom working. -we thought that the beds were a bit uncomfortable. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom and the bed wasn’t great. I tried the upstairs bed in the room with the porch and it wasn’t much better. But this could just be personal preference as we prefer something a little more firm. -the neighborhood seemed a little run down (lots of potholes on the main rd), but it looked like there were maintenance crews cleaning up/updating some of the common area spaces while we were there.

Best romantic getaway ever!
My husband and I just left a 3 day stay and it was by far the most relaxing and romantic getaway we’ve had yet! The hot tub was great, the kitchen was well stocked, sitting by the fireplace was amazing! I would say the only downside is we’ve stayed in other places that kept a stock of small ketchup, mayo, butter packets etc. Those were nice to have in our other places but certainly didn’t detract from this vacation! The most incredible part of the trip was being in the hot tub and watching the deer meander around the yard. It was so cool!
