"Creekside Serenade"

Todd, NC - This cozy log cabin comes quaintly furnished with brand new furniture and is conveniently located just off scenic Hwy 194S on a quiet lane. Close to Boone, West Jefferson, Todd and the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can hike or take a walk with your dog directly from the front door. The cabin is tastefully decorated in warm mountain decor.

The main living area includes a stone gas fireplace for cozying on those cool Carolina Mountain evenings, and a dining/kitchen combo fully equipped with everything you need to prepare that special meal for your significant other. A bedroom with comfy new king sized log bed and a bath are also on this level. Upstairs is another bedroom with king bed and bath along with a loft area that offers a king sleeper sofa for extra sleeping. With central heat and air conditioning there's no need to worry about the weather.

Out back, you're sure to enjoy the screened in porch with hot tub and seating area for reading. This creekfront retreat is like being in your own little state park. If a peaceful, quiet and beautiful setting is what you are looking for, this cabin is your best choice. Allows small pets and provides a wonderful, fenced area for children and pets.

The surrounding area offers many attractions and site seeing opportunities. Nearby is Mount Jefferson State Park, Elk Knob State Park, New River State Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and the quaint towns of Boone, Todd & West Jefferson. Enjoy a day at the Farmers Market or explore the many art galleries and local shops in downtown West Jefferson. Take in the breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the world famous swinging bridge at Grandfather Mountain. Make sure to visit Mystery Hill or Tweetsie Railroad while you're in Blowing Rock. Looking more adventure? Then spend the day canoeing/tubing the New River or hiking at one of our state parks. Our favorite spot!
This is our second stay at this charming log cabin. We come up to visit our son and this spot is perfect. We love the two porches, especially the screened porch which overlooks the creek, and we often see deer strolling through the woods. The cabin has everything you need, including very comfortable beds!

Family trip
Myself, my husband, our oldest daughter and her family (total of 6 of us) stayed here from a Thursday to a Sunday. The property was just as listed, clean, had mostly everything we needed and in a nice neighborhood, not far from lots of fun places. We went to Mystery Hill and Tweetsie RR. Everything went smoothly and we all had a great time! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!

This is a wonderful cabin with all the amenities. Our favorite features are the two porches and the comfortable beds. Being able to sit on either porch and see deer and listen to the creek was so relaxing. My only suggestion is to have wine glasses available.

Relaxing Getaway
A trip on a whim! Cozy cabin! Babbling creek in the back yard. Great location to explore from. Only wish I could have watched my Braves both days but one is better than none and the peaceful location made it insignificant. Saw deer all over the place including on the road in front of the cabin, a baby fawn and it’s mother. Check out the food and service at CRAFT BISTRO. We went twice and the local farmers markets had a great variety of produce and crafts, including meat. We are definitely coming back.

A sweet cabin nestled in the woods. Creek meandering through property gave it a calm, serene feel. Perfect little getaway for small family. Amenities provided for dog were great. Clean and well maintained but still woodsy. 15-30 minutes from town. Lovely place to escape to.

Our favorite cabin!
This is our second time staying at this cabin and we will definitely be back. It’s the perfect size for 4 people and there’s plenty of everything you need. Very easy to get to- our son drives a mustang and he was fine getting there. We love Todd and it’s a short drive to Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. West Jefferson is the closest. The neighborhood is even great for going on a walk. Love everything about this place.

This cabin is very cute! Small but works for a family with young kids. We loved the charming woodland log cabin development it was in and the pretty creek running through the yard. It was pretty well stocked for a small group and the location was great— easy, quick drive to West Jefferson.

Loved our time here! It snowed also so it was beautiful. It’s a great hike to the top of the hill where you can see green pastures. The cabin was so cozy and comfortable and had all amenities we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was clean and beds were comfortable. We also got a late check out so that was so convenient
