The bear den is a 1 bedroom 1 bath suite that has been totally remodeled. The unit is perfect for 1 or 2 travelers, but can accommodate up to 4 with the hide-a-bed in the couch.

The unit has a new fireplace, brand new kitchen, smart 50” tv, WiFi, and your own private sauna located inside the unit. You are welcome to park inside the garage.

This is a small apartment about 100 feet away from the main house. The parking lot is shared with the main house.


You'll have the entire suite to yourself, with the convenience of a personalized door code for the smart lock, ensuring a seamless and private stay.

The main house, located 100 feet away, is also rented. While you'll share the main parking area with the main house, the apartment suite and garage are private and exclusively yours.

The check-in smart lock code will be sent 2 days before check-in date.

The suite is located in a quiet residential area of Tofte.

Location, Location, Location: the suite is on a residential area in Tofte, near the fall drive, next to great state parks, and 10 minutes from Lutsen ski. There is a short trail from the yard to the national trail with 100+ miles of National Forest.

Please observe quiet time after 9:30 PM as this is a residential area.

Perfect for a couple, this small yet cozy suite is in a great location. Located in a residential area of Tofte this is the perfect location if you are enjoying the winter skiing / snow showing, or summer hiking and enjoying the trails. The suite has gone thru a total remodel in the fall 2021.

The Living room has a couch with a bed, two reading chairs, and a table with seating for 4. A smart 50” tv is on top of the gas fireplace.

The bedroom has a queen bed and view to the backyard.

The backyard has a grill, fireplace, and is adjacent to US National Forest.

The indoor electric sauna is located right next to the bathroom and shower – no need to go outside for the sauna. We also provide a sauna water bucket and pure eucalyptus extract drops.

For large groups that would like to book both, you can find the main house under "WildLife Chalet - 4 bedrooms, lake view, deck, grill, TVs, WIFI, games".

There is parking for one car inside the garage and a second car in front of the garage.

Cameras:
We have a Ring Doorbell and driveway cameras that actively record both audio and video. Additionally, the house is equipped with a decibel monitor that measures noise levels but does not record audio. Please note, there are no cameras inside the house.
