Stayed here for 4 nights. Got the twin room, and the size is good for two people, a bit more spacious than most Tokyo hotels. it seems like a brand new hotel, going for that minimal modern look. I love the bluetooth bang & olufsen speaker that we can freely use in the room, and the tea amenities feel high end. The free welcome drink is a nice touch. However, some of the design choices of the room feel inconvenient - not much storage space for clothes, the bathroom sink is in the living space, there's no easy place to eat. I feel like the hotel is trying to go for that upscaled, minimal look while sacrificing the core comforts of a hotel room. The staff are super nice and helpful, and the location is super convenient, less than a 5 min walk to the Ginza/Hibiya line.

The Nohga Hotel is a smaller, boutique-style property located close to Ueno Station, a direct 45 minute train ride on the Keisei Skyliner from Narita Airport. The immediate neighbourhood surrounding the hotel is quiet; at the same time, a lively and diverse restaurant district is a 5 minute walk away, through safe streets. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet provides ample choice of both western and asian breakfast foods. I would stay here again, and would recommend it to friends.

We loved this hotel. Excellent design. Nice, comfortable rooms and a pleasant terrace on second floor where we would sometimes have drinks. The bistro downstairs does excellent food - this is also where you have the breakfast. Thought the area was really good - not too busy and very close to Ueno station for access to trains and metro. Walking distance to Asakusa where Senso-Ji is. There was a 7 Eleven shop (convenience store) next to hotel. There were also good bars and small restaurants nearby. Really pleased that we chose this hotel in Tokyo - would recommend!
