The development notice outside stating they plan to replace the hotel with a residential complex explains the lack of investment in funding any kind of refresh. Other clues include the popcorn ceilings, dated & worn furniture (a pull-out couch with well faded cushions where the sleeper can feel the springs. chipped tables & nightstands), loose tub faucet, squeaky doors, chipped tub & counter. The pictures did not match the room - perhaps they refreshed a couple for the websites and gave up.

We stayed for the Taylor Swift concert. They had friendship bracelets at the front desk and a cute set up for pictures. Room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was nosy with some sort of rumbling in the ceiling every 5-10 minutes. May have been the elevator? I put in ear plugs and put on white noise and it was ok. The bed sheets and towels had a strong detergent or fabric softener smell which I did not like.

Very busy hotel due to Taylor Swift concert. Staff was friendly. Wish we could have gotten into our room a little earlier, but I understand they were super busy. The room was very large for a city hotel. The bed was comfy. Overall, a good experience, though the price was outrageous (again this was likely because of the concert). No dining option at the hotel. The lobby is quite small.

They were very accommodating; holding our bags before and after checkout, so we were free to explore the city. Complimentary tea, coffee, and a small selection of muffins were provided each morning. Great central location to the subway, drugstore, shopping, and dining. Very friendly staff. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again!!
