It was our first time in Toronto and the hotel location made it easy to get to what we needed to get to. The staff was friendly and the indoor options for eating were great. I wound just recommended doing room service where the food is actually brought to your door.

My friend and I approached the Concierge regarding directions to the Distillery District. He jumped in with a map and let us know that we should take the streetcar (with appropriate number) along King East and get off at "Trinity". He insisted that we'd know because it would be the most popular stop. Hard to tell "popular" during rush hour. Perhaps you could do a little training with your staff. Trinity is NOT a streetcar stop although the street is the one we needed to walk to the entrance of The Distillery District Christmas. I appreciate the fact that if he'd given us the correct stop we wouldn't have even thought about it. However quite the opposite. Perhaps a mini training each month on upcoming events and their corresponding transportation routes (and other information such as nearby restaurants). It is always better if the hotel concierge knows more about the city than the guests who are visiting.
