There is something just amazing staying at this hotel. The on site dining is always top notch and the Library Bar just gives Gatsby vibes. Service is top notch!

Staff was great , even got upgraded because we were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary. Only complaint is the lack of drawer space and no in room refrigerator. Overall great experience will be back again.

The Fairmont Royal York is a beautiful historic hotel with an unbeatable location right across from Union Station, making it easy to get around the city. The lobby and common areas feel elegant, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. Some parts of the property show their age, and you can tell it’s an older building despite renovations. The elevators can also get busy, and wait times were longer than expected at peak hours. Overall, it’s a convenient and charming place to stay if you want to be in the heart of downtown Toronto, but it may not fully match the price point in terms of modern luxury.

I love the history and architecture of the building and the rooms were fabulous. I did not like the price. I know everything is going up in price due to inflation but it would be great if you were a first time traveller to the hotel if there would be a bit of a discount.; even just 10% or so.

Hotel is exceptional

It’s amazing hotel . Quite enjoyable experience . Perfect location and convenient transportation. We tried two restaurants of hotel , very tasty foods . All staffs are very friendly and offer excellent service . We booked three different rooms , all rooms are big ,clean and comfortable . We like the lounge’s environment when we have foods and tea or coffee there . Highly recommend to my friends and definitely go back whenever we are in toronto

Best stay ever.

We were going to Toronto for the Lady Gaga concert and needed somewhere to stay. After debating going to a discount hotel, we picked the Farimont and splurged and boy was it worth it. Warm welcome. Friendly staff. Amenities are out of this world and our room was incredible. Definitely recommend.
