This is my second visit to Pembroke Inn. The facility itself is very unique as each room is different. The decor and layout are different in every room. The hotel itself is on track to be a cute little boutique hotel, and I understand how the neighbourhood could put some people off. However, I have walked around this neighbourhood in the daytime and at night, and honestly it’s no less safe than pretty well any other side street in Toronto. Where this place shines is in its extremely friendly staff, cleanliness of the room, and extreme walkability. It’s a few blocks away from Yonge Street, just north of Dundas, just south of Carlton. It’s so convenient to everything, and we have found it very comfortable and quiet.

Very clean, great service, no frills, free coffee. It's in a bit of a rough part of town so there was a safety issue but not due to the accommodations, more the neighbourhood. Bring earplugs as the sound between rooms was notable. Good value, would rebook.

Super friendly staff! Common area was cute and cozy with a little coffee & tea station. Room was very clean and spacious! 15 walk to Eaton centre. Really good pizza place (Afros) and lots of coffee shops near by! Would definitely stay again!

Good Room. Fair Price. Great Staff!
The staff were super friendly. The room itself was clean. I was a little nervous about the area the hotel is in. But I never felt unsafe even when I was walking alone in the evening. Only a 5-10min walk from Eaton Centre. It’s an older building but they’ve done a good job up keeping it.

This is a great little place to stay downtown Toronto! Each room is its own, comfortable and has pretty much everything you’ll need for a weekend in the city! The rates are always the best, cancellation is easy, the staff is super kind and I enjoy staying here. 4th stay! Yay!
