Cozy Rustic Cabin with Wonderful Views of the Smoky Mountains

Rustic 3 bedroom 3 bath home with beautiful views of the Smokey Mountains from the front deck. Master bedroom with king bed is on the main level with wonderful views of the mountains, two more bedrooms with private baths are upstairs with king beds and views of the mountains as well. Awesome location adjacent to Laurel Valley but on it's own 2 acre lot for privacy. Mountain views from every room! Large TV in living room with VCR and DVD player and library of movies to enjoy. Large wrap around deck with hot tub, gas grill and outdoor dining adjacent to kitchen.

Townsend Area: Townsend is the Peaceful Side of the Smokies, Close to the Tourist Towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but away from the Traffic and Noise. Local Restaurants and shops provide all you need and the National Park is just 10 minutes away!

Extensive brochures available for you to review in the home. Table games, puzzles, cards, books, DVDs and VCRs for your indoor enjoyment, but you will not want to be inside when you can be enjoying our mountains! Come home and relax in the hot tub. Enjoy!
Each bedroom has private bath and awesome views of the Mountains. Each bedroom has RokuTV and Wireless Internet. Master Bedroom has private entrance off of deck. Quilts and blankets on every bed to match the decor of the room. Dressers, chest of drawers, large closets and other areas to hang clothes, as well as luggage racks. There is a iron and full-size ironing board available in the downstairs bedroom closet.

Our property offers rare easy access for a cabin with such awesome mountain views. Driveway gives access for loading and unloading and there is plenty of level parking. We offer Roku TV and High Speed internet access with wireless. You hope you relax and enjoy our mountains but if you need to keep up with your email, we have you covered there too. Come to the Mountains and relax and enjoy our home! Our property has external cameras that monitor and protect our property.

Comfortable time with family in the smokies
Property is easy to find and has easy access to all the Smokies has to offer. Quiet, restful and relaxing if that is what you want in your vacation. We were a family of seniors and that was important.

Beautiful Cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin, it was a perfect size for our family of 5. The location is perfect with easy access to townsend and cades cove. Very minimal travel to main townsend road which is hard to find. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Mountain View
We loved this property. The location is close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for day trips and then come back and relax in the quiet. The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed for our stay and perfect for our group. We took our grandkids to golf course pool and enjoyed having a drink while they swam. The view of the mountains were beautiful from the cabin deck. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Great Stay
It was a very nice cabin in the woods. We would have liked to see more mountains from our view. It was rather far to travel to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and it took a longer time than anticipated. However, We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Getaway in the Smokys!
We absolutely loved our stay at Knotty Pine in Townsend! The home was everything as described and more. The hot tub, pool, and views were fantastic! It was the perfect home base for our family as we explored the Smoky Mountains! Would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to explore GSMNP!

Amazing property & owners!
I've never been to TN before so I wasn't sure about much when I was booking my stay. The photos of this house looked great and the property was even more amazing than the photos show!! The house was very clean, each bedroom having its own bathroom was amazing, sitting on the deck drinking coffee and looking at the mountains was amazing - I could go on and on. I highly recommend this property!!

Cades cove getaway
Kitchen was well equipped. Very comfortable beds. Driveway was easy to manage. View was beautiful, we had turkey and deer visit with us in the front yard. We had plenty room for my family of 6. We drove to Cades cove and Gatlinburg. Thank you for the opportunity to use your beautiful home.

Spring Break getaway
This cabin had everything we needed for a nice comfortable stay. The Townsend area offers less dining options, but the peaceful side has many perks. Getting in and out of GSMT is easy. Traffic is minimal. You’re closer to Maryville which has everything else you might need. We would definitely stay here again !

Wonderful cabin with beautiful view
The cabin itself was just as described and seen in the photos in the listing. Townsend is a very small town but we enjoyed the peace. This home had everything we needed, is in a gated community and conveniently had free access to the nearby fitness center on the golf course. Mary Jane was very attentive and even worked directly with our Babyquip representative to get things setup for our daughter before we even got there. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Another Tennessee Christmas
This was not our first Christmas spent in the foothills of the Smokies in a rented cabin, so a review and ratings from us come from a comparative standpoint - and I say - "hats off to the Grays! Attention to detail is very important to me(us), so a well-supplied kitchen, wood at the fire pit, and Christmas decorations throughout the house not only made the cabin feel like Christmas, but made it feel like home as well. Thank you for making our Christmas special!

Nice, quiet place to stay
Far enough away from pigeon Forge to feel like you’re in the country, but close enough to go and do touristy things for the day. Great beds. House next-door is closer than I expected but the divider fence obscured view of hot tub. Nice fire pit below the house.

Family pigeon forge/Gaitlinburg winter vacay
We arrived at the cabin everything was nice and clean with all things you would need in the kitchen. Plenty of room with three king sized bedrooms. The pictures does make the cabin seem bigger and seem like the views would be from the bedrooms as well. But the views from the front porch made up for that! It was gorgeous, the fire pit was nice, we were able to make s’mores every night we were there. I do however wish there was a propane or deck fire pit, the fire pit was a long walk down the mountain in the dark without lightening to the trail down. Hot tub was very nice, it relaxed my muscles for sure after long days of walking. The stairs are steep and narrow inside and very easy to fall on, id suggest making sure you have the light on so you can see the stairs going up and down. Going down the stairs one night I didn’t know there was a switch at the top and completely slide all the way down bruising my hip. All in all the cabin is super cute and perfect for a small family of 5 or a couple different couples.

Thanksgiving in the Smokies
This cabin was everything we had hoped it would be. Beautiful from top to bottom with a great view of the mountains. Spending Thanksgiving with the family in the Smokies at this cabin was like being in a Norman Rockwell painting. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Well stocked and comfy beds!
We spent a long weekend at Knotty Pine and it was awesome. The house was clean and fully stocked! We did not need anything while we were there because the cabin had it. One hugh plus was the comfort level of all the beds. Everyone in our group talked about how great they were which is rare to find in a rental. If we make it back to Townsend, we will definitely look to see if Knotty Pine is available first!

Great cabin!
This cabin was perfect for us, three brothers and their wives. We enjoyed the deck our whole stay, and the fire pit, the one night it was cool enough to have a fire. If we make that trip again, I hope this cabin is available.

The Cozy Rustic Cabin was a perfect fit for our family get away. It was quiet and comfortable. The views from the deck were perfect for morning coffee and conversation.

Beautiful home within a few minutes to Townsend, TN
We throughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful mountain view out the big front porch. You can see this view from the living areas and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked for daily cooking. It was an extra nice feature for everyone to have their own bathroom. 2 bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs and the master bedroom/bathroom downstairs. Beds were comfortable. Bring your own bath soaps. Basic supplies are provided. The upstairs has a balcony area overlooking the living room. There are neighbors right next door, but never saw or heard them, if any were at the house. The trees between the houses hides them well. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try the hot tub or fire pit.

Comfortable cabin in Townsend
We loved our stay at Knotty Pines! The cabin was very clean and cozy. The owner has put a lot of thought into making the cabin an enjoyable experience for guests. The beds are comfortable and each bedroom has its own private bath. We really enjoyed our long weekend in Townsend. We went hiking and tubing, visited the pool at Wild Laurel Resort, explored the Tuckaleechee Caverns and visited Dollywood.

Beautiful House in the Smokies
We stayed here for a week. The house was as described, beautiful and well stocked. If you plan on using the hot tub, I would bring some extra towels. Definitely, take care of your garbage as we did have a bear come and knock over the garbage can several times. We had a slight issue with the internet, but the owner was very responsive and communicated quickly and the problem was resolved quickly.

I would stay here again and again and recommend to anyone!
It was our first trip to the Smokies, but after a little research I knew I wanted to stay in a cabin near Townsend- the Peaceful Side of the Smokies. I looked at so many cabins, and this one ended up checking all of our boxes. After being to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, I’m so glad we chose the Peaceful Side, and I couldn’t be happier that we chose the Knotty Pine! The huge deck out front has a great Mountain View and wraps all the way to the back of the cabin! Around back there’s a hot tub that we loved to relax in and a gas grill that was great to be able to grill our own dinner when we didn’t want to eat out. The master bedroom has a king bed that’s very comfortable and a connected bathroom with a stone shower that also connects to the living room. The other two bedrooms are upstairs and each have their own bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo, as well! Each bedroom having its own bathroom was so nice and made it so easy for everyone to get ready at the same time! The loft area between the two upstairs bedrooms was stocked with puzzles, games and books, which our kids loved! Each bedroom has a tv, and there’s also a tv in the living room that you’re able to log into your streaming services on, or watch one of the very many DVD and VHSs that are provided! The kitchen is stocked with any utensil we could’ve needed while cooking, and having a washer and dryer right there at the cabin was so convenient! It was also in a private, quiet golf course neighborhood!
