Repair in Progress
The views are great from this spot but unfortunately that is all. We arrived to find the loft was being repaired and half the flooring was pulled up. Furniture was moved around. Drywall dust and dirty rags left. Not ideal. No gas grill so make sure you bring charcoal.

Steep location
The cabin was clean, except for some high up cobwebs and windows on balcony needed some cleaning. The kitchen was not equipped for someone to make a big breakfast, the drive to the cabin was EXTREMELY STEEP, the only TV for the entire family to watch was in the basement (not even in the gathering area on the main floor) and the wi-fi didn't work more than it worked.

Beautiful view and the best location!
We had a great time in Townsend. It’s a quaint sweet town with restaurant options and a very sweet vibe. The Smoky Mountain National Park is literally a 5 minute drive from the house and both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are 15 minutes away. The home was just like pictured minus the grill that’s no longer there and a few minor inconveniences like the tv not working on the main level, missing trash cans in bathrooms and the comforters needing replaced. The home is in very good shape and beautiful. I would go back and recommend this area to many.

Nice place!
Very nice cabin with a great view. Unfortunately when we arrived the power was off on the bottom floor and it took three calls to vacasa to get it turned back on but not until the next day.

Great property but disappointed
Hot tub was not on for the first half of the stay. Fireplace did not work at all. Maintenance came out around 3pm on our last full day to fix the hot tub and fireplace. He got the hot tub working so we were at least able to use it one time. But he wasn’t able to get the fireplace going. The bed in the loft did not have clean sheets. There were crumbs and hair and stains on the sheets. Had to wash the sheets ourselves to be able to sleep in it. The house and location itself were beautiful. Would expect better property management given all the additional fees.

Nice house, great location.
Very easy to rent and check in. Great experience. A few issues, Gas fireplace did not work, no lighter or matches to light the fire pit. No spices in the house, only 2 small trash bags for the kitchen trash. It is not a problem to bring our own just need advance notice. These were small incidentals. Overall great.

Many cabin shortcomings
Beautiful views....clean facility except for the living room rug and bath mats which were filthy......gas fireplace was not functioning with temperatures in the 40s. Even the average by-month historic temperatures call for 40 lows in April. ....no wood for other fireplace...grill is old and nasty.. ..no instructions and info for tv and thermostats....ridicules that the bedroom tv gets 3 unwatchable stations and the downstairs tv is worse, after long days exploring the area we couldn't even watch news in bed....upstairs (loft) bed squeaks so loudly it wakes you up every time you turn over....very disappointing experience.

Great location!
Everything was great. The only knock I will give is the entire family didn't sleep well due to the poor mattresses. If those get replaced, this place would be perfect.

A Beautiful Cabin with an Awesome View!
This was our first cabin rental and could not be happier with the experience! The cabin is beautiful and is in a gorgeous area. The views are what really what makes this cabin shine! Our biggest issue was getting the loaded minivan up the hill to the cabin (its steep). We found the cabin to be in great condition, clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, and cookware. In regards to some previous reviews, I was concerned about the review that mentioned roaches in the kitchen and even called the rental company ahead of time about it. I was told that they "had an exterminator out there and the problem should be remedied." I am happy to report that we saw absolutely no trace of roaches anywhere. Another reviewer mentioned the beds. If you have a sleep number at home and like it super soft, you may not like the beds. Yes, they are harder than what I have at home but after hiking several miles every day in the park, I still slept well. By the way, speaking of beds, it is not in the listing but the sofa in the lowest level family room is actually a fairly comfortable pull out. In short, we loved the cabin and will definitely try to get this cabin again if we are back in the area.

Great view from the back porch. Cabin is 3 floors. You enter middle floors with bathrooms on each.
Pluses: Great view, spacious, indoor gas fireplace, outdoor side porch wood burning fireplace, clean, bathrooms on each floor, adequate kitchen, hot tub bottom floor back porch, allow pets, and washer and drier. Basic supplies were present and adequate. Laundry and diswasher soap etc. Negatives: No wifi, steep stairs between floors, very minimal tv channels, steep road to cabin. Had trouble with hot tub and sinks draining but had a great repairman the next day that fixed the problems. Screens on porch in need of repair. Overall if the opportunity present will stay here again

The view was amazing.
We loved the layout of the cabin and the outside fireplace was awesome. The cabin was very spacious and clean. It was especially nice that our furbabies were able to go. One suggestion would be a small refrigerator downstairs. We had to contact maintenance due to a fireplace issue and they came in a responsible time and even called to make sure they could enter the cabin since we were not there. We will definitively stay here again and use this rental agency. Thanks for a wonderful vacay.

FANTASTIC VIEW!!
We loved the deck and the view from this home. It is worth every penny. Unfortunately the oven was broken and there is not much yard space for a dog, but besides those issues it was a wonderful place to stay. For owners of older dogs, I would be cautious to stay here unless you utilize the downstairs bedroom. My dog had a very hard time going up and down the hardwood stairs. Rocky Top Jewel is located up a very steep road so be prepared! I would also recommend eating at Elviras cafe on Wears Valley Road. It is a great place to go and dogs are allowed on the porch. Overall it was great place to stay during our trip.

Nature at it's best
The cabin was beautiful and perfectly met all my family's needs. It felt like " home away from home". The views from the back porch were amazing, and the hot tub from the second porch was relaxing and enjoyable after a long day of sightseeing. The only thing I disliked was the steep, narrow, winding roads getting to the cabin. I think I got a bunch of gray hairs on this trip. LOL
