The entry to the alotted rooms that are pet friendly had a broken key pad entry door. Any one had entry to the facility. There was a woman in a walker smoking next to the entry with a pit bull. She was polite and her dog well behaved but there was no where safe to walk. My elderly dad almost freaked out and wanted to leave. My poor dog really had no where clean that we could walk to relieve himself. You could tell other dog owners did not pick up after their dogs. You just want to stay in your room. I was so relieved on how clean the rooms were and the bathrooms were awesome.

I would have given a higher rating as we like to stay at this property when we are in the area. However, the electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work so I did not have a hair dryer. I asked for one at the desk but they did not have a loaner available

Not the view we expected
We had previously stayed at this hotel and enjoyed our experience. The hotel was still stuck in the 80’s but seemed well cared for. This visit was different. The room condition was questionable (cigarette burns in the duvet) and when we arrived there was some kind of police presences. Seemed like a drug bust, but we don’t know. The staff seemed unbothered by the situation. A sheet was placed over the door that had been knocked down by police. Aside from this everything else was fine I guess.
