Oh my gosh, what to say! The property is stunning, the rooms are huge and lovely, the food was fabulous, and the service was incredible. In particular, the restaurant hosts and servers were so wonderful. Sitting in the courtyard at sunset, watching the hummingbirds and bats, what a joy!!

I was somewhat disappointed with my stay at Hacienda del Sol. The night I arrived, there was a Luau, which was incredibly noisy and I was unable to find parking due to the event. I would expect that guests of the hotel would be prioritized ahead of visitors not staying at the resort. The service at the restaurant was slow, particularly since there were few tables seated. The adults-only pool area was nice but there were not clear instructions on how to order food/drink so I had to text guest services and ask them to place the order. There was no staff in the area, which is usually the case at a resort with pool areas. Overall, my birthday staycation was underwhelming and I wouldnā€™t return for a special event. They did, however, leave a little card and box of snacks in my room, which I thought was a nice touch.

Beautiful property in the foothills a reasonably short drive from downtown Tucson & UofA. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Only a view other than the driveway could have made it better. Good experience with breakfast at the restaurant and with a sunset night cap at the excellent bar. Several art pieces and a great variety of desert wildlife also make the hotelā€™s grounds home. Non-dining gratuities are included in the $35/day resort fee which is super helpful.

The Landscaping is beautiful. The views of the Catalina Mountains were grand, and the night views of downtown Tucson in the evening were spectacular.
