I didn’t like booking a king suite with a pull out, getting my room keys, driving to the room after a 6hr car ride with a 9 month old and 3 year old and finding out we were downgraded to a 2 full bed room. Then packing the family up again driving back to the lobby to be told the hotel was fully booked. Now the room we got was nice don’t get me wrong. What was not cool was paying an extra $70/night for a suite and not getting a suite. The hotel did waive the hotel fee which was $56 total, that math doesn’t math.

The noise near the pool was terrible. We were up early from staff moving the pool furniture at 6am, and were not able to sleep due to noise from people at the pool late and at the bar. Up till midnight! We asked to move rooms but none were available (so they said) even though we checked in early. I would NEVER, have a room by the pool again!!

The staff at check in were great, but everything went down hill from there. We were placed in a room different than the category we booked and it was not clean and had a broken screen on the patio so we requested a room change. The new room was clean and had a great view from the balcony, but as it got colder in the evening we realized the heat did not work. We were told by the front desk that the heat in the entire building was not working. We did not want to have to move again at 10pm, so we requested extra blankets as the low was 40 degrees that night. We were given thin top sheets and told no other blankets were available. I could barely sleep because I was so cold all night. Would never stay again. For the same price range there are a lot of other properties in the area with similar scenic views but more updated.

Front desk overwhelmed- tv reception bad- hotel restaurant understaffed-cockroach in bathroom- drain plug in sink came apart- room phone did not work properly- sliding screen door difficult to open- no towels at jacuzzi-AC unit inconsistent. Hotels.com gave it a high score, I dont see how or why.

Great property. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Beds are horribly soft, saggy, tough to get a good nights sleep.
