This hunting and fishing location is bordered on the east side by the Mississippi Levee and the west side by the Tunica Lake. The Tunica Lake was the Mississippi River until the 40’s. It was in the 40’s when the Federal government did channelization all up and down the Mississippi River. That channelization created a 21 mile oxbow, which created a secluded location on the Mississippi River, The Tunica Lake.
This is a well known location for the hunters, fishermen, those that love the lake all with easy access to the casinos and Tunica Resort.
Take the time to sit around a fire pit, enjoy a meal on the grill, dine in at The Levee Commissary or simply bask in the lovely Tunica sunsets at a hunting and fishing delight.
