Had a relaxing time staying at The Garcia Ubud if you're looking for a peaceful stay as it is not exactly near Ubud central, but the hotel does offer free shuttle service to go to the center. Room is not too soundproof, you can hear people dragging the chairs or opening the doors from left, right and upper floor, but not to the extent that you can hear people from the next rooms talking. Amenities in the room was amazing, love the smell of the coralieskin. We got the Pool Access room which is great, a little bit of downside is the weather is quite cold because of the strong wind and the sun does not really shine over the pool. Gym at the property is also quite small with just basic equipment (dumbbells, a rower, treadmill and a stepper machine), but they do offer free morning yoga activity if you are looking to stay active during your stay. Staffs are very nice and friendly, from the front desk agent to the restaurant. The front desk agent explained everything very thoroughly and detailed when we were checking in, restaurant staff also very attentive and ensure we had everything we need and enjoyed the meals. Before staying at this property, I have read all the reviews where most guests mentioned about the food in their restaurant and I could confirm that they do not overrate it. Food and drinks are "out of this world" as my partner commented. All meals are delicious, the tea selection and flavors is amazing.

Smaller hotel with a great restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Room service was also lovely. The villas are more like separate rooms in the same ā€œcompoundā€ where each needs a key card to access (same key works on each room). There are good dining options around but not plentiful like ubud center.

The hotel staff are wonderful. They were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff saw to every request. The hotel layout is also lovely. The only downside is that the rooms are not consistent and the wear and tear from the elements is more evident in some rooms than others.

Garcia was a fantastic stay, exquisite room kept immaculately clean each day. Staff at the hotel were so very polite, thoughtful and professional in the way they treat their guests. The location in Ubud was great, even though it is 7km from town the hotel offer a shuttle which made the daily visit to town a breeze. This was tue first stay in Ubud for us, after many Bali holidays, and feel completely satisfied with our decision to stay in Ubud, at the Garcia. Highly recommended.

Et dejligt sted. Vi blev opgradet til en villa med egen pool. De har shuttelbus til Ubud. Men det er meget trafik, sĆ„ det tager ml. 30-55 min. At komme ind til Ubud. Der er ikke meget i nƦrheden at se ellers. Men dejlig mad og dejligt hotel med en god servicešŸ˜˜

The breakfast is wonderful. But we donā€™t know why the staff didnā€™t tell us that we can choose two main courses each person. They didnā€™t inform the guests of this information. The room is not so big, but is clean. The equipment is convenient and modern in this hotel.

Unser Aufenthalt war absolut perfekt. Der Service ist super und sie helfen einem bei allem und sind sehr zuvorkommend. Das FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck war 5 Sterne und super lecker! Der Pool war fast immer leer und wie ein privat Pool, die gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt. Das Zimmer war sehr gemĆ¼tlich und sauber. Zum GlĆ¼ck liegt das Hotel weiter raus aus dem Trubel und es ist sehr ruhig. Wir durften sogar beim Yoga und Meditation teilnehmen.Wir wĆ¼rden immer wieder kommen wenn wir in Ubud sind.
