Our stay at the tiny home on long lake was nice. However, when they say tiny home – they mean it. We had a few rainy days, and it felt a little too small to spend all day in. The main bedroom is quite small, there are some drawers and a closet to store stuff in, but otherwise not a lot of room to put anything. The bathroom as well was quite small. There is a shelf behind the toilet to put some toiletries, but there isn’t a sink counter. The kitchen cabinets all had dishes in it, and there is not a lot of counter space, so the only place to put dry food you brought is the small kitchen table. The upstairs bedroom is not a full ceiling, more of a loft.
The deck great, and it was partly shaded, and there was a grill to use. We appreciated there being a boat and motor to use, unfortunately did not catch any fish, maybe just due to our lack of knowledge of where to fish on the lake. Our dog enjoyed jumping from the dock, but getting out of the lake was kind of steep for him.
The driveway down to the cabin in very steep. We had a truck so no problem, but if you have a smaller vehicle, I am not sure how that would work.
The TV is only for movies. It would have been nice to get some antenna channels just for news/weather in the morning.
It was nice being close to battle lake, and Fergus falls. We didn’t get to do too much in town since we had our pets with us though.
