Beautiful home in outstanding area
We’re so grateful to Frederique for a truly wonderful 2 week stay in her beautiful home. She was so welcoming and the property was enchanting. Very quiet but within a 10 minute walk to the bustling town square and Roman village. So many villages to explore within 40 minutes of the home. First but Abdul not our last visit to beautiful Provence.

Charming gite in Provence
The property was clean and tidy, with a lovely outdoor terrace. The pool was a welcome relief from the scorching temperatures, and after a hot day sightseeing it was lovely to take a refreshing dip. The gite is located an easy 10 minute amble into Vaison - a bustling market town with all the facilities one could need. There are some quirks - there is only one loo, which is downstairs whilst the shower room is upstairs. There is also no wash hand basin in the loo. Also, the VRBO listing states that housekeeping is included - this is incorrect, and there is a charge of 50€. Additionally there is no mention in the listing that towels and linen are not provided - they are available to rent, which was fortunate because we were already south of Lyon when we were notified of this! Quirks aside, we had a lovely week's stay and can heartily recommend staying here.

Delightful accommodation
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was everything we hoped it would be. All the modern requirements with a French look. Frederique was lovely and gave us some wine on arrival! We had a relaxing week and our teenager loved the pool to cool down in. The only negative was the mosquitoes, you will need jungle strength spray to keep them from biting you.

Perfect Getaway at the Edge of Town
Our stay at Frederique's delightful apartment, just an easy stroll from the heart of Vaison la Romaine, was fantastic in many ways: 1)Location- quick access to the heart of town yet quiet, peaceful relaxing, 2)The Place- I'm a designer/builder by training and so have a discerning eye. The light-filled open plan was fantastic. The mezzainine master bedroom above, connected to the kitchen and living room below, all tied to the gorgeous courtyard via windows and French Doors- ooh lah lah, you couldn't ask for more. 3)The Hosts- Frederique and her husband Eric were attentive and responsive. She went above and beyond to call of duty, including taking us all about town on the first day for a great orientation. One relatively minor criticism is that the WiFi was weak everywhere except in the side bedroom. We will absolutely be recommending their apartment to friends and family.

It's all true
The two of us had a memorable stay at this property in mid-May. All was as described and photographed - a comfortable little 2-bedroom, 2-storey 'house' tucked away in the corner of the owner's beautiful garden. It was cooler then so we didn't use the pool, but tried to make the most of our private front terrace and garden - especially in the afternoon when the sun poured in. Location is very private and peaceful. It is about 10 minutes' easy walk on quiet streets and paths from the centre of 'Vaison' and main sights and was a wonderful base for touring the surrounding scenic villages and countryside. A bottle of wine and home-made apricot jam welcomed us. There was parking space for us off-street and plenty of linen and kitchen equipment for a longer stay. (We ate out every night in the many bistros in the heart of old Vaison.) Washing machine was terrific! The bathroom upstairs is roomy with a big shower recess; heating is installed throughout in case of a cold snap. Owner Frederique was most helpful and welcoming. A beautiful little slice of Provence - privacy assured. Highly recommended.

Schöne Anlage, wir kommen gerne wieder
Schön eingerichtetes Haus von zweien. Alle Küchenutensilien sind vorhanden. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind separat zu bestellen. Das Auto kann auf dem Grundstück geparkt werden. Sehr freundliche und diskrete Vermieter. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Sehr ruhig und alles ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen sicherlich wieder.

Bon séjour découverte de Vaison la Romaine
La propriété est très bien implantée dans la ville pour tout faire à pied. Le logement était bien aménagé. Nous avons bien profité des extérieurs, dans cet écrin de nature, ainsi que de la piscine, cependant pour cette dernière et après plusieurs lectures de l'annonce nous n'avions pas compris qu'il s'agissait d'un ensemble de gîtes avec piscine partagée. Une climatisation aurait été très appréciable notamment pour la chambre située en mezzanine sous les toits, et notamment pour éloigner les moustiques tigres. Nous remercions notre hôte pour ses attentions et sa gentillesse. Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine en famille.

Mooi vakantiehuis, dicht bij het centrum, met een zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse
Wij hebben veertien dagen genoten van dit verblijf. Zelden zo'n schone vakantiewoning aangetroffen. Frédérique is een zeer vriendelijke en bescheiden gastvrouw. Wij hebben echt helemaal niets te klagen gehad. Alleen maar genoten.

Magnifique séjour Vaison La Romaine
Endroit très calme et bien situé. Pas loin du centre. Bon restaurant dans le centre. Pas mal d'endroits a visiter. Le logement est très agréable. authentiek provencaals huis
Het is een sfeervolle lokatie: rustig en in het groen. Het huisje is authentiek: dikke muren en met luiken. Het terras met wijnranken beschaduwd.Het zwembad was heerlijk. Het huisje ligt op 10 min wandelen van het centrum van Vaison waar we elke morgen een kopje koffie gingen doen. Frederique was aardig en behulpzaam.

Leuk huis, op loopafstand van centrum
Wij kregen een erg hartelijk ontvangst van de eigenaresse Frederique. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, een goed bed en een tuin met voldoende privacy. Wij hadden bedlinnen gehuurd en we kregen elke week van Frederique schoon bedlinnen. Dit huis is een echte aanrader voor mensen die in een rustige omgeving willen verblijven en toch op loopafstand van restaurants en winkels willen zijn. De eigenaren Frederique en Eric zijn erg aardige mensen en altijd bereikbaar voor vragen of als er iets is.

Erholsamer Urlaub in schönem Anwesen
Das Haus ist sehr schön und komfortabel, im Frühjahr waren die Heizkörper in allen Räumen nützlich. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und gleichzeitig zurückhaltend. Die Lage des Hauses erfordert, trotz Stadtlage ein Fahrzeug, um zu den Geschäften zu kommen. Weniger Möbel und weniger Geschirr im Küchenschrank wären noch besser.
