Sister trip
The host was awesome, told us where the best grocery stores were and named several restaurants that had great menus. His suggestions were spot on! We enjoyed the home. It was clean and had good amenities. Internet was spotty but that was understandable due to location. Only problem was the window in the kitchen and both walk out doors had no blinds or curtains to provide privacy. So we 6 women did not feel safe.

Bed Sizes
The listing has the bedroom in room 2 listed as a Queen, it is not. That is a full size bed. I haven't the slightest idea how they got a King size bed into the bedroom it is in because there is quite literally no room to move in there. That said, all I needed the location for was a place to sleep and it accomplished that, though with significantly less bed space than advertised and I ended up sleeping on the couch and leaving the Full Size bed that should have been a Queen to my wife while my parents had the King and my kids had the twins. The floor was very saggy, which is typical of an older manufactured home like this, but everything worked. Host responded promptly to all messages and was very kind as we noted some damage the prior guests had left. We did have a small issue with insects, but that's just standard for a riverside property in thr Ozarks in August.

It was very clean comfortable beds and pillows everything needed to shower was provided. I cleaned out the fridge from previous people who stayed but it was easily missed cause it was in the drawer of the fridge. Plan on booking our stay for next year a year in advance so we can get this same property again. Also very quiet neighborhood.

The Little Blue on 123 E. Pine Street
We stayed at The Little Blue to go on our first friend’s group float trip. We had such a memorable weekend! We enjoyed floating on the river and being so close to the river that we could actually walk back to the house when we finished our float. We enjoyed the large out door areas (deck and driveway) to just sit and relax and reminisce. Such a cute house and roomy for our little group. We highly recommend if you want to float but don’t want to spend hours driving to and from the float area.

Current River Weekend Float
Overall, we enjoyed staying at this property for our long weekend adults-only family float trip. Staying at Little Blue beat the stress of hauling, setting up, and packing up a camper which we have done in the past. Our family enjoys low-key entertainment like a movie or board game in the evening, so we appreciated the access to streaming options. The neighborhood was quiet compared to previous campground and lodge experiences. We would stay here again, if it’s not book, but we would have to look for a larger house if we bring the entire family (six adults and four kids).

Regret the emergency contact was so rude and two hours away
We never got the entry code for the front door in advance. We reached out to VRBO which had a waiting time of more than an hour and we reached out to the property owner by phone and by text. 25 minutes later we heard from the property owner and was given a code. So we had sat on the porch for that time waiting. The next day we cannot turn off the shower. We could turn the water pressure from the showerhead to the faucet but we could not get it to stop. We called the emergency contact whose name and phone number was left in the property . He answered immediately and explained that he was two hours away but he would call and get us some help. We waited a good 8 to 10 minutes and then called him back because he hadn’t contacted us. At that time we were bailing water out of the tub using the wastebasket because the water was coming in faster than the tub could release it. It was becoming very stressful and indeed an emergency situation. The emergency contact person received a call while I was on the phone with him so I hung up so he could talk to a plumber and have a plumber sent to the house. Before the plumber arrived my husband pulled off the knob and managed to turn the water off. I called the emergency person back to tell them that . He said the plumber was in route. I said I really appreciate the help but he might want to mention that this was most unfortunate and could it warrant a partial refund. At that he bristled and said “Get out now. Leave the property now. I’m gonna call the cops. Go. You don’t ever have to come back” and he hung up on me. Within 15 minutes the plumber came and he could not have been nicer or more professional and he took care of the situation. The police never did arrive. We left early the next morning.
