Cozy A Frame cabin on Texada Island

Our A frame Cabin is at our Rocky Valley Glamping site. Do you love winter camping? It is a special time of year with rainy days, creeks flowing and mossy cliffs. It is the perfect time of year to enjoy a campfire or sit out in the rain after a sauna or just cuddle up and read a book. Our A frame has a queen bed, 2 comfortable chairs and a loft with a single bed. Bedding and towels are provided for you so you can enjoy the 12 person sauna over looking a cliff. Cook your meals in a covered BBQ deck with live edge bar top and a beautiful fire pit to enjoy with your s'mores in the evening. We have very clean outhouses. Outdoor showers may or may not be working depends on how cold the weather gets, but there is a RV park just down the road to shower at. You are walking distance to Mary Marys for Breakfast and a restaurant and pub close by. There is a grocery store a short walk away as well. You will also want to remember to come back in the summer and enjoy the cliff side outdoor movie theatre and a 6 person hammock. Come and enjoy Texada's many beaches, trails and lakes. Another great thing about Texada is that we have no bears or cats so you can relax and enjoy your trip.

Clean, comfy glamping A frame cabin
Friendly hosts. Stayed in Big A cabin and was clean and comfy beds. Quiet. Electrical roughed in but not complete. Access to glamping A frames steep and rugged, no stairs. Not advertised as accessible but you definitely need to be agile to get to the Little A and Big A as well as the outhouse. At night it’s quite treacherous even with a lantern. No smoke or carbon dioxide detectors or fire extinguisher in the cabin. Site not quite ready for guests in some areas, still under construction. Not much lighting around the site. Pet policy confusing. Says pet friendly on website and VRBO but said no pets on booking confirmation. Nice DIY wood fired sauna.
