Nice Vintage Home with a swimming pool (summer only) & sauna just by the West end a short walk away from Broadway and Granville Busy are where you'll find coffee shops, shopping and is close to central bus stops that can take you to downtown or the Canada line sky train

Just a quick 15 minute drive from the airport, downtown, UBC, Kerrisdale, Richmond, so you're in the centre of it all.

Sleeping Arrangements:
Large Master bedroom with a kingsize on the main floor with a couch, walk in closet and a large steam bathroom + Jacuzzi.

3 bedrooms upstairs with queen beds and one bedroom downstairs with a Queen as well, main floor also features a small bedroom for children comes with a little play kitchen & a twin bed.

Common Area:
The living room comes with two comfortable Leather couches, a 42" TV with accessible Apple TV + Netflix, Console available upon request + Board games and cards available under the TV.

Kitchen:
Cutlery available, we'll keep cooking essentials available, butter/ sauces, and if there are milk and eggs in the fridge feel free to use for your needs.

Nice Luxurious Neighbourhood with plenty of trees, keep watch for common animals like Squirrels, Racoons, Birds.

If you hear rattling outside at night, its just the animals climbing trees.

Safe Neighbourhood, You'll occasionally hear neighbouring exotic vehicles start and rumble out of their houses, enjoy the sound.

Do Not Rent
The house will be demolished in a near future and you can tell that the owner is no longer investing in it. Everything is basically falling apart. Mold, leaks, heating issues, cold pool, etc... The title is wrong. The house is not cosy since the heat was not working properly. It is very dated, not luxurious at all. Even the sauna is falling apart. We had to call a company "after hour" to try to fix the heat during the weekend. If you are the owner and reading this, please pay your bill! This is unacceptable.

A Bad Experience
The great location does not make up for the issues with this house. The property was not ready when we arrived. The biggest issue was a large pile of garbage in bags and boxes that filled the garage to the point that cars could not enter. It smelled bad and I worried it was a health hazard. After contacting the manager, the bags were taken away after a few days into our stay. We had the heating in the house go out twice. The stairway is broken at the bottom of the steps. Two doors were broken with signs claiming "awaiting new door". The walls and windows in the pool area and in some parts of the house had water damage. The bathtub/showers needed caulking. One sink in the master bathroom was broken and leaked every evening. The doors to the showers were all loose. The master bedroom carpet was severely stained and dirty. All of the sheets and towels were very worn. There wasn't enough dishware and what was there was mismatched. I have photos of all the issues. It was a real disappointment and I feel we paid way too much for this bad experience. It has put me off VRBO as the description was so misleading.

Big house with an amazing location
The house was perfect for our visit to Vancouver. The house is walking distance to lots of shopping, restaurants and bars, and a quick bike or car ride to downtown. We had a great time and loved the pool and sauna!

Large property good for large family groups
This house is in a great location and is good for a large family gathering. There were 10 of us visiting Vancouver for a family wedding and this house was a good base camp for us to eat meals and hang out between wedding events. It's in a quiet upscale neighbourhood of Vancouver, within short walking distance to Granville with lots of coffee shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the large kitchen and spacious living areas, along with six bedrooms. It wasn't a big issue for us, but this house is very quirky and quite run down generally. It's clearly going to be demolished for a new build house at some point so understandably the owner doesn't want to spend significant amounts on upkeep. If you need somewhere for a large group to stay together with communal living space (which is hard to find in Vancouver), this would be a good spot (just manage your expectations). If you're looking for a "luxury" rental, then you may want to keep looking.

Big House in a Nice Location
This property was great for a large group. There are plenty of beds and a little private patio in the back. The location is prime and you can walk to quite a lot. Communication with the owner was quick and helpful and he allowed us to have an early check in. There were a few areas that had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival and the house has a few water damage issues but overall the stay was good and I'd stay here again.

Dissapointing
The stay at the house was very disappointing: We first got a message from the property manager delaying our check in time as the previous guests stayed longer than they were supposed to.. Kind of frustrating but not a huge deal.. We booked the property 3 or 4 months in advance so expecting it to be ready as previously agreed upon. They were cleaning the moss off the roof when we arrived and did not clean up all of it. All of the decks and outside areas were covered with dirt/moss. We ended up cleaning it off ourselves. Also was asked by the property manager to flip over the laundry.. I mean I don't mind helping out but asking your guests to finish the laundry. Thought that was a little odd. It seemed the house had not been cleaned, every shower/bathroom smelt like urine. We moved one of the couches as we were watching the hockey game with our family and there was a disgusting amount of dust bunnies, peoples hair, and old food. This was on the first night of our stay. Lots of the walls and ceilings had a major amount of water damage that are rotting and looked moldy. At night the house came alive.. the sounds of rodents or something running around inside the walls/ceiling. Kept the whole house up at night. Only 1 bed out of the 5 we slept in was bearable. On check out day we were scheduled he sent a to do list of a bunch of items to complete before we checked out which is fine and expected.. But he had sent it an hour before the scheduled check out time which the list would have taken much more than that.. We had left 3 hours prior to get out of there but just poor management probably the reason the past people were there longer than they were supposed too. For the price we paid was expecting a lot better of an experience. I would not recommend

What great potential but missed the mark. Mold in showers, lots the 2 of them. Manager tried to take care of the issues and was really nice but way too many to handle. House was not ready for us. House keepers did a horrible job, i.e., towels were folded and put up wet, bathrooms dirty, shower curtain was installed after checkin. Heater went out the first night, manager brought lots of space heaters but those blew the breaker. Really disappointed and spent WAY too much money a night for the place in such a state, Hate to write this review but felt like I needed to since I rely on reviews when traveling..

Overpriced and Underwhelming
Only found out just prior to our rental dates that the pool would not be available (I asked, this info was not offered right away) - which was obviously a big factor in why we booked this unit and how it was priced. The property is desperately in need of repairs and TLC. The kitchen is poorly stocked and many dishes were dirty out of the cupboards. The bedrooms were adequate, location is quite good. I would absolutely not recommend this location at its current price point.

The house was exceptionally spacious for 10 people and the neighborhood is very nice. Location was also very accommodating as most of our trips only took 15 min or less. However, we felt that the house wasn't very prepared for our arrival. The towel cabinet was empty and the hot tub wasn't working properly. The toilet upstairs also wasn't flushing properly and we found that the water tank wasn't refilling the water quick enough due to a leak in the tube and had to refill with water from the tub. There were also other little things that weren't working properly or were broken which we didn't seem to mind but considering the amount we paid we had higher expectations. We did provide these feedback to the owner he was very understanding also stopped by the next day to drop off towels and tried to fix the tub so communication was superb! And he gave a partial refund so that was greatly appreciated. Overall, our stay was nice only because it was short. But this house has the potential to offer a greater stay and experience.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed
The house was in a complete state of disrepair. Garbage lined the driveway. No garbage cans in the house. No plunger. Toilet was clogged on arrival and the owner felt justified In charging us for the repair.. Towels smelled. Water damage and mold evident in several places. Very disappointing stay and unable to work with the owner to avoid unjustified charges. I don’t recommend this place to anyone

Springtime in Vancouver
We had a wonderful family reunion in Vancouver and the out of towners stayed at this very large home for five nights. The kitchen is modern and roomy, the living room area featured a massage chair that was out of order. The lighting in this large home is poor. The washing machine needed repair as the spring cycle wasn’t working properly. Great location! Would stay there again

Great location, great communication, Great house
We had great communication with Moaadt- he was very courteous and helpful. House was immaculate and accommodated our family of 6 + 2 children very easily. Our 4-year-old grandchild loved being pulled by sled in the backyard and playing hide-n-seek. The neighborhood is near a nice shopping area. We enjoyed having space for everyone to feel comfortable. It was a treat to be hear and all enjoyed our stay!!
