At the heart of a 12-hectare estate, this old 17th century farmhouse, tastefully renovated, offers a high level of comfort and offers 7 bedrooms to accommodate up to 15 people, for a stay surrounded by nature in the tranquility of the Périgord countryside.
You will enjoy wide open spaces, unspoiled nature, which has become rare. Large bay windows offer panoramic views of the property and let in the light, which is exceptional at La Tisonnie. You can alternate between the many visits and activities offered by the Dordogne, walks on the hiking trails starting from La Tisonnie and lazing around on the terraces or by the large heated swimming pool.
For optimal comfort, your gite is equipped with the best equipment: 2 induction hobs, 2 multifunction ovens, LCD television with Chromecast and satellite reception, 160 x 200 latex bedding, wifi internet connection, low temperature underfloor heating, large 6 x 12 m heated swimming pool and secure beaches and sunny all day long...

30th Wedding Family Holiday
La Tissonie is great and totally private and in such a beautiful rural location but only 10 minutes from the town of Riberac which has a fantastic market on a Friday. Fred was very welcoming and helpful when we needed to ask a few things. We were a family of 12 from ages 21 to 79 and the property was perfect for us all to be together, and also space for individual and quiet moments if required. The view from the super pool was a delight as was the eating terrace of an evening. Thank you Fred, we would definitely book again!

Great family and friends vacation for our 30th anniversary
We needed a villa large enough for 13 people and wanted a large swimming pool, large grounds , enough bedrooms and a few bathrooms . This ticked all the boxes ! We had a fantastic week . Many lovely meals were enjoyed outside on the huge table . Lovely area too and great having RIBERAC 5 minutes away

Brilliant family villa
Top quality villa. Layout works really well giving opportunity of privacy and plenty of bathrooms. Very well equipped with more than enough for large groups. All kitchen equipment either new or recent. Great outdoor seating/ dining area providing shade from sun and rain if needed. Good sized pool , well maintained and safely fenced. Enormous grounds providing privacy. Fred is quite rightly proud of the villa and works hard to ensure that everything is spot on. We enjoyed the homemade foie gras he brought round. He is a really good host, not intrusive but very friendly and helpful. The villa is situated near a lake with a swimming area overseen by a lifeguard. Various activities like paddle boarding can be booked for free. There is plenty to do in the area. Our only pity was that we hadn’t spent 2 weeks here. Many, many thanks Fred!

A wonderful holiday
Our group of 13 (four families) have just returned from a week at Fred's wonderful house. It was even better than we expected, peaceful and plenty of room, with a fantastic outside dining area and an excellent pool, perfect for cooling down (and playing) during this endless hot weather. Fred was welcoming and full of great advice about the area. We'd all definitely return. Book with confidence.

We loved it!
Beautiful, well equipped and presented property in a picturesque and secluded location. There was plenty of room for our group of nine - when we wanted to socialise with each other and when we needed a bit of space. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Lots of areas outside to sit and relax - for sun and shade lovers. The pool and table tennis table were great for cooling down or burning off excess teenage energy. The local area is lovely with plenty of places to visit within a reasonable distance. We visited Aubeterre, Riberac for its excellent market, Bordeaux, Brantôme, Sarlat as well as the local swimming lake and a couple of kayak trips. Last but not least - Fred, our host, was fantastic - great communication, welcoming and eager to help us to have the best holiday possible. It was a pleasure to meet him. We are all rather sad to be home and back at work - a sign of a great holiday!

laatste week van September verbleven wij met acht vrienden in dit ruimen verblijf Ons doel was op de racefiets wat mooie routes rijden door de Dordogne, en dat is prima gelukt voldoende rustige wegen en mooie beklimmingen Na de rit is het heerlijk thuis komen in dit verblijf Een lekkere duik in het zwembad daarna met elkaar koken en het laat maken op het overdekte terras De eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en spreekt prima Engels met een mooi Frans accent De omgeving is erg rustig maar zeker voldoende mogelijkheden om er op uit te trekken

Très beau domaine, parfait pour recevoir 3 à 4 familles. Superbe résidence avec une très grande piscine chauffée. Idéal pour des vacances en famille. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et nous a réservé un excellent accueil. Un peu compliqué pour découvrir la région. Tout est au minimum à 1/2 heure sur des routes étroites...mais bon, l'essentiel est de se retrouver dans un endroit super sympa.

Even helemaal tot rust komen
We zijn hier met familie een week geweest. Het was heerlijk, het huis zit aan de rand van het bos waardoor de hertjes in de ochtend en avond voorbij komen. Je bent er echt even helemaal uit. Het zwembad was voortreffelijk ook met de kinderen, alles is omheind dus veilig voor de kleintjes. Het huis zelf is ruim en echt alles is aanwezig. Het overdekte terras is nog het meest gebruikt de hele week! Het huis ligt relatief afgelegen maar wij hebben de drang niet gevoeld om allerlei uitstapjes te maken omdat er genoeg te doen was in en om het huis.

Très belle propriété offrant tout le confort nécessaire. La charpente du bâtiment principal est impressionnante, le jardin est immense (12 hectares) et l'accueil réservé par Fred est excellent. Nous avons passé Noël en famille à 14 personnes sans manquer d'espace. Nous recommandons vivement !

Fantastisch huis, mooie omgeving, heerlijke vakantie!!
Wij, een gezelschap van 13 personen (grootouders, ouders en kinderen + baby) hebben enorm genoten van onze vakantie in la Tisonnie. Het huis staat in een prachtig domein (tuin dekt de lading niet), je komt binnen via een automatisch toegangshek en bereikt via de oprijlaan het huis met een groot gazon en volledig omzoomd door bomen. Het is een prachtige gite, het huis is prachtig, groot, goed uitgerust (veel glazen, borden, bestek etc.), schoon, met heerlijke bedden en een groot zwembad. Wij waren vooral veel te vinden op de veranda, het hart van het huis en dé ideale plek voor een gezellig samen zijn. In de directe omgeving kun je heerlijk in de bossen wandelen, mountain biken en leuke plaatsen bezoeken, als Brantome, Bourdeilles en Auberterre. In Riberac kun je prima boodschappen doen en iedere vrijdag is er een grote gezellige markt. Ook het mooie Bergerac (om te bezichtigen, winkelen, eten of vliegen) is binnen een uurtje te bereiken. Hoewel dit deel van de Dordogne minder toeristisch is, is het zeker de moeite van het bezoeken waard. Speciale dank aan Sigrun en Fred voor alle hulp. Mede dankzij jullie hebben wij een fantastische vakantie gehad. Merci beaucoup!!

Séjour parfait au coeur de la nature dans une maison magnifique
Environnement calme, reposant et ressourcant. Maison hyper confortable, bien équipée à la décoration contemporaine. Literie parfaite et salle de bain super. Nous avons fêté les 90 ans de mon papa dans ce gite, propre, agréable, très fonctionnel et avons été enchanté. Super temps en ce mois de janvier, nous avons donc profité de ce lieu, des chevreuils et du magnifique coucher de soleil. Nous avons été très bien reçu par Frédéric qui nous a envoyé avant notre arrivée tous les renseignements nécessaires afin d'arriver sans nous perdre, dans sa superbe demeure très pratique pour nous qui étions 15.

Nous avons fêtez notre pacs à la grande maison. Nous étions 12 personnes. Tout été parfait ! Le cadre, la vue, la maison dans son ensemble, tout le monde étaient ravis !
