Experience the real Costa Rica …..High above the Canopy with panoramic Ocean views. Enjoy the 40 foot infinity edge pool perched above the jungle and ocean. Above all enjoy the tranquility of being one with nature yet close enough to world class beaches (15-20 minutes), Golf at Hacienda Pinilla (15 minutes), Fine Dining (20 minutes), and the nightlife of Tamarindo (30 minutes). Most of the beach roads in Costa Rica are dirt, so a SUV 4X4 is recommended.

Guests can relax while enjoying the local scenery and wildlife all from the comfort of their own private patio and pool. This includes birds, deer and of course the amazing Howler Monkeys. If you want to enjoy nature in comfort and luxury, this is the home for you.

Unwind swimming laps in the 40 foot infinity edge pool or while doing yoga in a truly amazing setting. Or just sit back and relax with a cool beverage on the patio and enjoy the view.

This luxurious home merges the new with the old. The kitchen is fully equipped with new GE profile appliances and all the amenities of home. The structure is cement with cement floors and teak ceilings. All the furniture was handcrafted by local artisans with fine quality wood of Guanacaste and teak. The resort style 40 foot swimming pool is amazing overlooking the canopy and the ocean.

This house is definitely a destination! The property manager will greet guests and take care of all their needs during their stay. There is a live-in grounds keeper on the property 24 hours a day.

Spacious With Beautiful View
Great house that’s spacious and has a beautiful view. The only reason it’s not a 5 star location is because it takes about 15 minutes to get to from the main road. However, if you’re looking for a lot of privacy and wildlife, then this is great. This house met all our needs!

Monkeys, Monkeys, Monkeys!
This was our second stay at this wonderful location! This house is definitely "in the jungle", with spectacular nightly sunsets, views of the jungle canopy and the distant Pacific Ocean. You will enjoy daily flyovers from the neighboring parakeets and we were fortunate to have monkeys visit us 9 of 10 days of our stay!

We stayed at this property for four nights and very much enjoyed the view and the privacy. You’re definitely going to see some wildlife but you’re in the jungle, so that’s what you should expect. The house was gorgeous and the pool was refreshing. We would definitely come back again!

Pura vida at its best!
We had an absolutely incredible time at Los Cielos. The view cannot be beat!! It was great to have all of the space, the pool, AC, and howler monkeys greeting us each day. Laserro, the caretaker is 2nd to none. He and his dog Lilu were always there when we needed something. Our contact Christie was also very responsive and answered any text quickly. This location is a fun adventure in itself! When staying here, make sure to have a 4-wheel drive. There are very bumpy roads that get worse with rain. Expect a few critters as you are in the jungle. The house iguanas were a hoot to watch and the geckos serenaded us at night. Highly recommended!!! Pura Vida!

Just what the doctor ordered!
Costa Rica is an amazing place. Great people, great food and great weather. Don’t be too put off by the $2 road on the way to the house. Once you make it to the top of the hill you will be greeted with a million $ view. Lazero is great and is only around when you need him to be. Being at the top of the hill provides a nice breeze to beat back that CR heat. The house was clean and besides small flying bugs from having the big door open, we never had any issues with anything big or scary. Not a single Scorpion or large spider to be found. The iguanas and birds provide a lot of entertainment for guests, but never in a bad way. Great restaurants on the beach are only 15-20mins away. Becky and Christie were a big help when our flight was delayed and they were flexible and willing to help with whatever they could. Overall a very relaxing vacation for our family. Just what the doctor ordered! You will not be disappointed making your next vacation a CR trip and staying at Mark and Becky’s gorgeous home.

Wonderful stay!
We have been coming to Costa Rica since 2006, and this is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Quiet, peaceful, no mechanical noise. Just the sounds of howler monkeys, parrots, and the wind. Luxurious Private Oasis
My friends and I were in awe when we walked into this beautiful home. In the early mornings completely surrounded by nature we sat on the deck listening to the howler monkeys as we watched the day awaken. The yellow bellied fly catchers, mourning doves and tree swallows were abundant. With all the luxuries of a suburban home, we could have easily spent all our time there but adventured to the near by beaches. The rustic road trip was definitely worth it.

What a view!
This property was perfect for my family. It has been beautifully designed to make the most of the incredible view. We loved watching the monkeys, birds and resident iguana family! The pool, outdoor kitchen & entertainment system were also much appreciated! The beaches & local restaurants were great too!

Even better than expected!
We did a LOT of research on this place and have stayed at many vacation rentals over well over a decade. This was hands down the nicest place we have stayed at. Not only in terms of the home - beautiful - but cleanliness, and better stocked than we ever have had. Great pots and pans, quality items for the kitchen, super soft towels all around, the beds were firm and very comfortable. Attention to every detail. The caretaker was extremely helpful and were even abel to hire his wife to cook us several meals which were feasts. We had enough for 2-3 meals afterwards with leftovers! What else: wifi worked great for streaming shows at night when the kids just needed a rest. The air conditioning worked great in all the rooms. Not a single complaint! We highly recommend this place.

The property was beautiful with flowers, tropical plants, and a beautiful pool. Great views down through the valley. We saw howler monkeys from the front door as the group of 8 with 2 babies moved through for about 30 minutes, to eat the white flowers on the trees-- right by the front gate. We saw many birds from the pool area and front door, including a painted bunting, white-throated magpie jays, hummingbirds, and woodpeckers. It was quite warm in the afternoons, with no shade around the pool area. Perhaps a triangle or rectangle sun shade sail to provide much needed shade in the heat of the afternoon? Highly recommended villa. Beautiful and peaceful!

Scenic hideaway
The drive to the property was pretty remote, but ended up being so peaceful. It was just what we hoped for. Away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist congestion yet still close to anything we needed. Plenty of space at this location and sunset views for days. I will stay here again when returning to Costa Rica

Paradise found
What a beautiful home! We have stayed at a lot of private homes in Costa Rica & other parts of the world & this one is up there with the top ones. It had a well stocked kitchen, lots of towels & beach towels, floaties for the pool, chairs for the beach & pretty good Wi Fi . A few suggestions...A strip of weather strip on the bottom of the laundry room door might keep some creatures from entering the house, a SUV or 4x4 should be recommended to rent, the directions to the house was a little confusing( a hand drawn map might help) & softer pillows would have been nice. Overall we had a wonderful time & even made a friend. She was a friendly small brown dog who recently had puppies...we named her Lola!!

We frequently visit Costa Rica and Casa Cielo was definitely our favorite villa we have rented. Love the open space, the layout and the view was phenomenal! We had a couple issues during our stay but Christi, the Property Manager and Lassero, the caretaker were both very responsive and resolved them in a timely manner. We will be returning to Casa Cielo for our next visit in 2023!

Slice of heaven!
We will never forget this vacation. Communication with the host and property manager was seamless - highly responsive team. Key when booking an international vacation. The home was a dream to vacation in. The views were incredible! One could tell a lot of time went into the layout and the landscaping. It is impeccably planned. We had all that we needed. A small store down the road had all the essentials required. Cactus restaurant is not far off offered great local dishes and smoothies. Lasero the care-taker was truly a kind man, always present if we needed anything. We left very relaxed and that’s saying a-lot as parents of three young and active boys. We’d definitely book again!

Amazing property breathtaking views
This house was remote but just what I needed. I did see a huge frog in my toilet that was unflushable had to take it into the woods to get it out of the house, couple geckos with long tales on property, 2 dogs that came to visit us we love dogs and they were very friendly so we gave them hamburgers and bacon lol. I really felt the house had everything we needed music Bluetooth, floats for the pool, chef kitchen. I loved waking up early and watching the sunrise. It did take us about 25 minutes to leave this remote area but we were fine with it and had a rental car must have a car to stay at this property. Christy property manager was amazing she responded in WhatsApp within minutes offered great suggestions for upscale restaurant for my boyfriends birthday, awesome tour and even things to do and nearest grocery store. She was super helpful and made our visit smooth sailing. Also thanks to the owners Marc and Becky for having a nice binder on living room table with tour pamphlets, things to know about the house and wifi codes. They are very organized and I could tell they wanted us to feel at home in their home with everything at our fingertips. Best part for me was the infinity pool, morning views and all the birds shurp in the morning. I have nothing bad to say about this property would recommend.

Welcome to the jungle
Special place with a unique proximity to wildlife and nature, uninterrupted. Perfect for everyone wanting to take a deep breath, to recharge, and to leave the noise of big cities aside. Also, a place for comfort lovers; you have everything necessary to keep good quality living standards. We are very grateful for this unique experience and a feeling like home while thousands of miles away. Waking up with the subtle sounds of nature, hearing birds and hawley monkeys, having a morning coffee with the best view is truly transformative. Couple tips for future guests: there is a big chunk of a dirt road before you reach the house, and if, like us, you decide to stay during rainy season, it’s critical to have 4-x drive and to remember that road changes constantly (after each session of rain that can last anywhere from an hour to a whole day). 20 min drive to the closest beach (Playa Avellanas and Playa Negra). Around 30 min to Tamarindo and 40-45 to Brasilito. Also, expect wildlife visitors; we had frog concerts every other night. Iguanas and geckos come around all the time; sometimes you can have small snakes and scorpios around (night time) No need to worry or get hysterical - just read some essentials for Costa Rica and ask Christi, the property manager. It was a great experience for our son who loves wildlife. And It’s Costa Rica, the country of 3% of all biodiversity after all. So enjoy it!

Our stay from start to finish was the best we’ve ever experienced! The house is absolutely stunning along with the foliage and wildlife . Lazero the grounds Keeper went over and beyond to be be helpful and gave great tips regarding places to go and things to do. Christy the property manager was so friendly and very timely in her responses to our questions. We will all be back for sure! If you want a FIVE STAR experience in Costa Rica this is the place! Everything was more than perfect! The house is huge, elegant , full equipped.
Me and my group of friends has an amazing time at Casa Cielos. I can describe it as “if you need something just ask for it...you I’ll get it”. They are really accessible. Since the beginning Marco helped us reducing the number of nights requested to book. Days before our arrival communication was very fluent and easy. Christi, the property manager, help us leaving our stuff before the checkin , so we can enjoy the rest of the day on the beach while the house was ready ... (early check in actually)! ... the same at the check out, I mean, we request an late check out and get it as there was no other reservations (I told you, they’re excellent hosts!). Lassero , the caretaker of the property also helped us with queries related to the property. In summary staff is incredible! About the house is more than expected! Definitely as seen in pictures , the house is filled equipped, the view is stunning. We want to come back !
