Stay in Venice
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, which was located in more of a local neighborhood rather than the busy city center of Venice. Check-in was fairly simple and professional. We had a smaller room but it got the job done. The hotel doesn’t have a lift, which can make things tricky when you have big suitcases. The breakfast was solid and they have rooms eat in shifts to prevent overcrowding.

Staff are really friendly and those in reception can’t do enough for you. Easy access from the hotel to the Rialto etc. Our room was well appointed, a lovely surprise with its old traditional wall covering, carpets and marble flooring. The bed was so comfy. Even has a fridge in the room. Breakfast in the courtyard is an added bonus … reception staff have a novel way to keep the pigeons away .. a water pistol!

Great walkable location close to a major vaporetto route and many museums/restaurants/attractions, yet a quiet respite from the crowds of Venice in summer. Notably, the back door of the hotel is a short walk to a vaporetto stop that does not require crossing a canal/going up and down bridge stairs with luggage. The hotel has no elevator - would be hard for someone with mobility issues to navigate. It is in a renovated historic structure, beautifully decorated in period furnishings but with modern amenities. Staff was uniformly pleasant, especially helpful with advising us on ferry/air transfers by boat. Breakfast is served in a charming courtyard,

We were in Venice for a short stay. The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance to a major Grand Canal vaporetto route. Notably, the walk from the vaporetto stop to the back door of the hotel is flat; it does not require walking up and down stairs with luggage! Many museums and attractions are within walking distance or only 1-2 stops away by vaporetto.The hotel itself is lovely with period decor, and a beautiful courtyard for breakfast. It does not have an elevator, and would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Staff was extremely helpful in advising us on getting around the city, arranging airport and ferry transfers, etc.

This hotel is located in a quiet area on the island of Venice. It was close to dining, shopping and the stop for the ‘vaporetto’, the water bus. The hotel itself is antique with modern conveniences, lots of beautiful character, lovely dining area ( inside and outside) and friendly staff. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Really lovely hotel. Walkable to everywhere and super convenient for water taxi/vaparetto. Made getting in from the (farther away) airport a breeze. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bathroom in good condition. Very nice bedroom with luxurious heavy drapes. Everything in working order. Kettle for coffee, but they give you espresso drinks at breakfast, so I didn’t have the need to use it.

Lovely hotel
Lovely clean hotel with all amenities and very pretty little courtyard. Great breakfast and really nice, helpful staff. Perfect location to explore, everything within walking distance. Really easy to get to and from the airport on the allilaguna boat then just a minute walk. Would definitely return.

An actual affordable hotel a 15 minute walk from the Rialto Bridge, with a surprisingly good breakfast and large, clean rooms. Some very good out of the way restaurants nearby too (baccaretto). Highly recommended.
