The apartment is located in the center of Venice, near the Campo San Giacomo dall'Orio one of the most typical and charming squares of the city.
In the historical center, near Rialto and other major attractions, is within easy walking distance from the railway station from the bus, or ferry through at Riva de Blasio, located a short walk from the apartment.
The rooms, recently restored, are large (21mq) and are bright with two large windows overlooking a typical street. It can accommodate two or three people in comfort and is equipped with a double bed with the possibility of adding a third bed.A corner with a sofa, also will welcome you for your moments of relaxation.

Great location and flexible host

This apartment was in the perfect location. Everything was walkable and it wasn’t in the middle of the chaos. Very cute resident neighborhood. We had a great time staying here for two nights as a family of 5. Host was very flexible with dropping luggage off.

Comfortable stay in a a perfect location

We enjoyed a seamless check in and stay at this charming and spacious apartment in central Venice. Easy access to the local sights and a safe and comfortable neighborhood. Gian Maria was a great host and made sure everything ran smoothly.

Great Spot

We had great communication. The host messaged me long before my trip. Day of we were offered early check in to match our train as well as ability to stay a little later. The house was clean and had all the things we needed. There were 6 of us and we all stayed comfortably no problem. Don’t miss out on this place it was great!

Fine accommodations, great location

We loved the location and enjoyed the relative quiet while staying close to all the sites. This apartment was not very comfortable, though, with sagging mattresses and limited heat. Also seemed high priced, but maybe that’s just Venice market. Owner was very communicative.

Nice stay, great host

Gianmaria was a great host and very helpful from the time of booking through to check out. The property is located fairly centrally in a quiet part of Venice. It is about a 10-minute walk from the train station with some bridges and stairs involved so plan for that if you are bringing a lot of luggage. It is nice that he has both a washer and dryer for laundry.

Great place in Venice. Super clean!

Gian Maria was very responsive to questions and had the room early when we arrived earlier than originally planned. Away from most of the crowds - the street was a little loud but by 11 pm (on a Saturday) had quieted down. Did not see a grill or hot tub but didn’t have a need for those in a cool November. Would definitely stay there again if we ever return to Venice!

We had a wonderful stay at Ruga Bella. It’s located on a quiet street but located close to cafes and restaurants. It is a very spacious apartment and the beds were so comfortable. The host was so accommodating and was quick to respond to messages. I would highly recommend staying at Ruga Bella!

Great place!

My stay with our 4 adult children was wonderful. We had plenty of room for the 6 of us. The beds are comfortable, the flat is on a quiet street with an adjacent plaza. Great restaurants, gelato and shopping in easy walking distance. Just a 9 minute walk from the water taxi stop. We are so happy we selected this rental. Highly recommend

Great one night stop in Venice

Great stay for my friends and I. We are a group of 2 couples and 2 singles (6 people total), so the sleeping arrangements worked out perfectly. The bedrooms are spacious. The entire flat is very clean. There are clear and helpful directions throughout the flat. Gian Maria was very responsive, helpful, & gave nice recommendations. Would recommend!

A fabulous property near everything

Our short stay was made so much better with Gian Maria taking away all our worries. Close to the train station and away from the hustle of the tourist sites this apartment was perfect for our visit. Can’t wait to return.

Property was clean and comfortable. We only slept there. We were not in Venice to stay inside. There is only 1 a/c unit, located in the entrance hall in between the bedrooms, so bedroom doors needs to be left open. As it is Aug we needed a little a/c. Location was great. No hesitation to nook again and no regres.

Hidden gem

Venice is beautiful, as long as you do not stay too long at the major tourist attractions. Gian’s appartement is situated in a beautiful and very authentic part of Venice. Walking distance (12 minutes) from Piazzala Roma. Functional and clean apartment with two bedrooms where I stayed with my family of five. Communication with Gina is first class. Super responsive, very helpful and has great suggestions. He is a proud Venetian with lot of connections in the neighbourhood. We just stayed for one day and one night, and truly enjoyed it!

Great place in the heart of Venice

The property was located very close to the Santa Lucia train station and were able to walk to all of Venice very easily. The property easily slept 6 adults and had AC! The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Plus we were able to do a quick load of laundry since there was a washer and dryer.

Ruga Bella charming apartment

We only stayed 1 night, but the apartment was perfect! Great location and everything we needed was there. We wish we had had more time to stay and explore, but if we find ourselves in Venice again, we would absolutely stay in Gian Maria's apartment again.

Substandard - Venice stay

Poor communication of owner prior to our arrival-even after submitting passports. Location-1/4 mile to water taxi/ garbage disposal & 1.5 mile walk to St Marks Sq. Mosquitoes in residence. Washing machine did not work. Use of 2 beds necessary despite “rule” not to if less than 3 travelers. Rules to turn off electricity, A/C were followed. 32 euros occupancy tax paid with 5 euros and $30 US.
