Your Venice Destination

The Dorado is a 2 story houseboat located on C Dock in the Venice Marina. All the comforts of home including:

3 bedrooms & 2 1/2 baths.

Bedroom (1) Includes 1 Full size bed along with 1 Twin
Bedroom (2) Includes 1 Full size bed & 2 Twin beds
Bedroom (3) Includes 1 Queen with seating area with 2 chairs & table.

There are NO bunk beds.

The houseboat is equipped with a full kitchen, washer & dryer, 400lb ice machine, fish cleaning table, Dish TV, BBQ grill. . You are able to dock your boat on either the East or West side. Just bring your tackle and groceries and you are ready to go.

Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 10am

The Dorado is always a great place to stay from cleanliness to boat parking to amenities. I’ve stayed multiple times here and will be my place of choice to stay again down the road.

We had a great time in Venice. The stay at the Verado was nice. Captains both days knew exactly where we were to pick us up. It was a little further from the marina than I had thought but not a big deal. We will be back.

Excellent stay. The houseboat was clean and well kept. It was also located int he same marina as our fishing charter; in fact, our captain picked us up right from the back porch of the houseboat. I will definitely re-book in the future.

Great trip!
Fishing was hard but our accommodations were excellent. Everything was super clean and extremely comfortable. Being located on C dock is very convenient. Guides even commented that this was one of their favorite cabins. Doug was great do deal with. Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at the Dorado several times and keep coming back because it's just simply the best property on the Marina. Doug, the owner, is extremely attentive to any requests and makes sure your stay is a quality experience. The houseboat is spacious and always clean. There are plenty of cooking utensils for cooking all your meals. The back dock / porch faces east so the afternoon sun is not beating down on you and the morning sunrises are spectacular. The boat captains can and will pick you up at the back dock and might clean your fish at the cleaning station located on the back dock as well. Always a pleasure staying at the Dorado and working with Doug. We will be back in October.
