Everything was amazing, beautiful evening on the water with a gorgeous pool and excellent dining. Only complaint is that the rooms are very outdated and the pillows and beds are not comfortable, we struggled to sleep.

This place on the coast above Ventura is truly amazing. It has a warm, family like atmosphere, beautiful pool right along the edge of the bluff, and some of the best food I’ve ever had. The views out into the Pacific revealed dolphins, California Sea Lions, many kinds of birds. But what makes the place so special is the staff, the fresh continental style breakfast spread, ample hours for leisurely dining outdoors or in, late checkout time, plenty of beach chairs for pool or garden lounging, and the lovely immaculately maintained pool, large enough for laps.

The property has a wonderful view of the Santa Barbara Channel, with many of the rooms having ocean views. The pool and outdoor sitting area was nice and the rooms were charming. The parking at night is very tight due to the restaurant and it can be hard to find spots. Also, it would be nice if the breakfast in the morning had more options for those with allergies. There was very little gluten-free options.

This a great Hotel setting between Ventura and Santa Barbara. It's an older place, but kept in excellent condition. The Restaurant is very upscale and a pleasure to dine in. Just a Fun place to spent time.
